Unfortunately that some people have to be dealing with this issue of long distance relationships. To be honest with you, it does require a lot of commitment. However, constant communication is the key. you have to talk to each other on a regular basis. You can also use social media(facebook etc) skype, email etc.
If you like to dance you may go line dancing, ballroom dancing, or even bowling. You can also join a gym to destress yourself. yoga and meditation 2-3 times a week are also excellent . Exercise is really one good way of dealing with stress. Just try to stay busy.
