Does the value of virginity decrease with age?

It's ironic how society teaches young women in particular to place a high value on their virginity. Most valuable things increase in value over the years such as gold, art, diamonds, and until recently real estate. While being a virgin at age 19 or 22 might be precious to some people very few of us place a high value on virgins who are 30, 40, 50 or more years older. In fact we start to think something must be wrong with them! (Is this a form of societal hypocrisy?) 70-year-old virgin Pam Shaw says she is ready for love!
