I see many magazine headlines of stories where couples who have been together years marry at the last minute. Why do you think that is?

Thanks for the response. That's really what has me curious, though. Many have chosen not to marry previously. I guess their views change when circumstances change.

Ooh, that's harsh! It's also a reason people should make wills, things don't automatically go to a spouse if a will states differently. Thanks for replying.

It is a difficult question, msorensson, which I find hard to understand, so thank you for joining in here. I think some people consider the financial cost of a wedding and put it off, then realise it does matter to them.
