It's not just you, Peanut, seriously, it's not.  However, since we cannot do much about zealots posting their "stuff,"....whatever it is they post and why they do it.....we CAN stay clear of their hubs, questions & forum postings.  I recall reading a few and participating a bit, when I was a much newer hubber.  It didn't take long to get the picture and realize their motives and intentions and the near insanity of some of their rants, in response to comments they JUST DIDN'T LIKE AND COULD NOT DEAL WITH.
Trust me......make your life easier and happier....scroll right on by and totally ignore the zealots......they do just fine entertaining each other in their little clique!  They are the only ones who can understand and completely agree with one another.  This makes them happy too.  Good for everyone!!   Yippee!

It would be great if we could avoid seeing the religious forum postings on the front page of the forum.

that is the best question i've heard in a while and i couldn't agree more. i just answered a question where some religious nut stated that life after death is a fact. i am getting to the point where coming on here irritates me some days due to thr religious nuts.

I guess freedom of speech can be a double edged sword.
But we do have power over what we choose to read.

48 is right, you are not alone.
Though I occasionally do comment on posts from the zealots I don't take them seriously. Blind faith means blinded by faith and deaf to anything they don't want to hear.
We can't change that and they aren't interested in a conversation, only in their own opinion.
There will always be those who claim to “know”, no matter how little they have to base that "knowledge" on. There will always be those who deny the obvious fallacy when it is shown.
After all the world is flat and churches float.
So as 48 says just ignore them, they think that if they shout it loud and long enough it will somehow be so.

Hi Borsia, not heard from you for ages. I shouldn't let myself get so wound up by people. Life's too short! Thanks for the comment. Tara

Hi peanut. I have had one or two comments from those who quote their version of religion. The first comment I responded to but the rest I didn´t bother with at all. Everyone has their own opinions and that is their right, but we have the right to ignore them if we choose to.

point taken, I get irritated with people spouting stuff at me but will ignore it in future. I will live and let live and try to ignore any comments of an extremist nature!
