Definitely !!!! I have fallen in love many times by a man's speaking voice. What more can I say? Not that it is solely the voice I fall in love with, but his voice is a major part of the total attraction for me. And TONE! Yes, yes, yes. For me, a totally auditory processing person, it's not WHAT a person says, but how they say it. And if a man is a great singer (for me it's the tenor range) and plays a guitar for me, well, I just plain melt. It's through the voice that I sense the soul of the person. Sometimes if I hear a singer on the radio and later see the singer, I'm disappointed. I do think that voice is part of why we like certain actors better than others. While Steve Buccemi is one of the greatest actors, his is not a voice I could fall in love with. But I don't like polished, fake voices in actors either. It has to be a voice like Josh Radnor who plays Ted Mosby on "How I Met Your Mother". I could go on. This is a fun question. And yes, I ADORE President Obama's voice. His tone has gotten a little too "Republican" and understandaby strident for me lately, but when he's relaxed and in comedic mode, I love him.
