Do you drive in the snow or stay home?

I am one of those people who is terrified to drive in the snow - especially with kids. Party tonight, but thinking I gotta cancel with the forecast. Is it a valid excuse? 3-5 inches expected..... and it could get icy by drive-home time! Hostess isn't waivering....

Thanks DDE. Just what I want to hear! So many people make me feel guilty when I cancel plans because of snow, but truly, it is not worth risking an accident.

I understand, Dragonflycolor. I often think of the people who have to get to work like that and get the kids to school, having to go to work. I can only imagine how tough the snow can be on you on those days.
