Monica Lewinsky, a "narcissistic loony toon" or a 22 yr old victim of a 49 yr old sexual predator?

Former friend of Hillary Clinton's. Political science professor Diane Blair—described by Hillary as her "closest friend" before Blair died in 2000—kept diaries, strategy memos, interviews, and correspondence regarding the Clintons' early days in Arkansas and the White House. Among the juiciest bits:  In a handwritten note, Blair wrote that Hillary defended Bill over his affair with "narcissistic loony toon" Monica Lewinsky. “HRC insists "It was a huge personal lapse...consensual (was not a power relationship) & was not sex within any real meaning (standup, liedown, oral, etc.) of the term."

A little bit of both in my opinion. Both were grown adults and knew exactly what they were doing. I remember seeing interviews with her back in then and there did seem to be something missing upstairs...then again maybe she was just acting like a ditzy 22 year old.

My feelings exactly, she was both! but what is revealing about that conclusion is the fact that predators prey on the weak, the aberrant, the "ditzy" or anyone whom they see as at a disadvantage to them. He has a record of sexual predation of same.

when a man uses his position of power to intimidate a female - it is called sexual harassment by a sexual predator except when it is Hillary's demonic husband.
then it is called office duties - besides, as Hillary always says, "what difference does it make".
The Clintons live under a disguise of normality while they bury their enemies.

Good point about his position of power. I'm sure she was very enamored with his power as that happens to many women.

Holy smokes. These dead  people all have connections to the Clintons? Well just like any criminal what you know about them is just the tip of the ice berg of their nefarious deeds. What do you think, there might be 50 times these connected to them?

Any other wife that gets cheated on by her husband is considered "the victim" not the mistress! Whenever someone dislikes/hates you, they'll never acknowledge your humanity or the possibility that you could be hurt. Few plp sympathize with Hilary.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Not that I think Lewinsky was a victim in the classic sense of the word, but this statement comes from a woman that made up a story about sniper fire involving her and her daughter to gain attention. In my opinion, THAT is a case of narcissistic loony-toonness.

Profound observation, Hil liar y was just projecting, a defense mechanism that involves taking our own unacceptable qualities or feelings and ascribing them to other people. That makes sense & compliments her paranoia (vast right wing conspiracy)

Monica Lewinsky was no more a victim than the typical groupie going after a famous, rich, or powerful person to bond with. I recall her doing an interview years after the scandal. She talked about her first trip to the Oval Office having a conversation with Clinton and as she walked out she "mooned" him revealing her thong underwear. (This was before any sexual activity ever took place).
No one can convince me that a 22 year old college graduate who knowingly flashes a married man is "innocent" period. I'm not condoning the actions of the president but Monica Lewinsky is a far cry from being a victim.
The "narcissistic loony toon" reference was probably related to her belief that Bill was going to dump Hilary and marry her! From what I understand Marilyn Monroe once thought she was going to end up with JFK as well.
In both situations we're not talking about women who met a man and later "discovered" he was married.
There have always been women who will throw themselves at pro athletes, actors, singers, millionaires, and even politicians regardless of their marital status. I'm sure there was a thrill of being with not only someone who was world famous but also the "leader of the free world." Even today one the hottest TV shows is "Scandal" which features the president of the U.S. having an affair. The betrayed wife is the only "victim" here.
From Hilary's point of view and that of most (married women) whose husbands have cheated, those wives would never look at a mistress as being a victim! In fact most wives would call them much worse names than a "narcissistic loony toon".

Wow, I don't think I ever heard about the mooning incident. Agreed, the only real victims when it comes to cheating is the person who was cheated on.

Yeah you never heard of it because it never happened. What she did was In the course of flirting with him she raised her jacket in the back and showed him the straps of her thong underwear, which extended above her pants. Get the facts right.

tsadjatko,  Is this the act of a (victim)? " My memory was slightly off. (forgive me); Nevertheless you get the point I was making! "innocent women{ would not expose their underwear straps to a married man!

Right exactly what I said -that is not a moon - her butt was in her pants and the straps were showing above her pants, not panties. She lifted her jacket and did not drop her pants - pay attention - no one has ever said she mooned anyone! she flirted

I definitely don't think Monica was a victim in any shape form or fashion. She knew exactly what she was doing & I believe she was the catalyst. I'm not condoning or excusing the Presidents actions, but I think it was her plan, that's why she saved her dress with "stains" on it. Now she's a millionaire & an author. Some victim.

I agree, she knew what she was doing & she got more than she bargained but does that excuse the most powerful married man in the world, 27 years her elder, from messin with her? He's a known letch &instead of being the responsible adult he at

She was an adult and knew what she was doing. That doesn't excuse his part in it. But I don't believe she was a victim.

Was she any more a narcissistic loony toon than any one who behaves badly and makes a poor judgment call?

If anyone would know a  narcissistic loony toon when they see one it would be Hillary Clinton (sniper fire? vast right wing consp.? what does it matter?) ! So if she calls the young Lewinsky that what does that make Bill? Ask Kathleen Willey.
