Do guys prefer flirtatious or shy girls?

I'm very curious. I was very shy and introverted, guys never approached me and always approached my friends when going out-it always made me wonder am I not pretty enough? I was in a long relationship&now recently single for over a year& enjoying it! Now that I'm a bit more older and confident, I have become very flirtatious & naughty (not sleeping around but kissing & teasing) I seem to get more attention & get approached by a lot of guys which I'm loving at the moment ... dnt want to come across slutty!!

I prefer for a woman to show me if she is interested. Be it flirting and letting me know that the chance of being rejected is minimal. Men are also shy at times when it comes to approaching a woman. So, I suppose I am saying I lean towards flirting. smile

Thank you for your reply... so if I flirt with more than 1 man, what Would you think?
Im very hard on myself  ... I would hate to think that men would think im slutty cause I flirt with more than 1 man in a bar or a club!

In this era of "sexual harassment" and "stalking"  charges most men would prefer it if a women would (indicate some interest) in them. Subtle flirting has become a lost art. Some women tend to be overly aggressive or they're waiting on guys to {blindly} approach them.
Something as simple as two people's eyes connecting and mutually smiling at one another can break the ice. Also bear in mind some guys are shy too! Not every man is an extrovert or into "the chase".
I'd prefer to know a woman has interest in me. Flirting or being personable beats being shy or aloof. I tended to move on quickly if the vibe wasn't mutual. I'm not a dentist and I don't pull teeth.smile

I prefer a bit of modesty, which doesn't necessarily mean shy or flirtatious. A girl could be relatively modest and just be flirtatious with select people. I don't really ever feel a need to call someone slutty - everyone has different comfort levels - I'd be fine with a girl having fun and talking to multiple guys at a social scene, but if she was making out with more than one, then that would cross a comfort level for me personally (actually making out with a stranger period, would cross that line for me, but as I said, everyone is different).

As far as the question, you have to understand that guys are nervous and shy too, so a shy girl can be intimidating, because the guy may feel like they'll have to to a lot of the conversational work. That doesn't necessarily mean they don't like shy girls, it just is a bit harder of an engagement (in my opinion).

Either way, it sounds like you are doing fine. Do what's right by you and try not to worry too much about what others think. No matter what you do, there's almost always a scrooge somewhere who will disagree.

i think friendly and outgoing is better than flirty. Guys play around with flirty girls but never take serious into relationship. Better become open and carefree, don't  shut yourself and behave yourself well

Follow my hubs I give great tips on these topics. I approach basically every guy. You can give off all the vibes to come hither however men can be just as shy. Sit at the bar where men can order drinks and strike up convo at that point. Look approachable and go to the bar alone. Even one friend can be one to many.
