   Happy Friendship Day. Do you celebrate it today?
   
   We are celebrating our Friendship Day today, ie. the first Sunday of August month each year.
   So, I wish you all my friends a very very "Happy Friendship Day" and my blessings.

   I didn't even know Friendship day exists until now so no, I don't celebrate it.

      Sorry to know, Jonas. United Nations has declared July 30th as World Friendship Day in the year 2011. Prior to that different countries celebrated it on different dates and months.
      But now many countries celebrate it on first Sunday of August yearly

   I've never heard of "Friendship Day" either, but what a wonderful idea!  Is it always celebrated on August 2?  Or is it always the first Sunday in August?  Sounds like a great topic for a hub!

      Donna, I thought you would be celebrating it on July 30th in US. It is celebrated by many countries now on first Sunday of August each year. So, the date will be varying each year.

      It depends upon you. Some like special days and others may not. But every day is a special day for us even if you celebrate or not. It should be a good thing to enjoy instead of keeping dull and experiencing loneliness or depression. https://www.days
