I'm making updates in my book for adults, and I have a chapter on belly dance and burlesque. A friend of mine said I should write the chapter encouraging learning ballroom dance instead. I already wrote about ballroom dance in an earlier chapter. My experience has often been that women outnumber men at ballroom and folk dances, and I have a theory if women make themselves attractive and flirt a lot, that would get men more interested in dance. Is my theory right? If not, what can be done to get men more interested in social dance? Please state your experiences and ideas here! Thanks!

Do you think flirting women would get men more interested in ballroom dance? What if the woman did belly dance / burlesque moves?
If a guy thinks you're "hot" there's a good chance he'll try anything to be around you (in the beginning). However once the relationship is "solidified" he'll revert back to his "authentic self". Men view flirting as an act of seduction.

That's an idea! Perhaps we can reintroduce it in high school PE class.
