When you say "ok" that depends on the individual.
Life is after all a (personal) journey.
Being "ok" with something means you're either (content) or have reached the point of (acceptance). You're in a "comfort zone".
Personally (I) wouldn't be "ok" with being poor and homeless.
In the U.S. the majority of people tend to believe most poor people made some "mistakes" which led to their poverty status...
(Drug use, criminal behavior, got mixed up with the "wrong crowd", had "toxic relationships", had children without completing their education and establishing a career, took unnecessary financial risk or never bothered to save money, foolishly gave away their money to someone, lacked ambition or was a slacker...etc
In other instances they {burned bridges} with family & friends.
Even with that there are numerous shelters, food banks, soup kitchens, church and non profit groups along with government assistance programs to help impoverished people.
Having said that there are some people "too proud" to call on family or friends, apply for help from government, stand in line at shelters, and unfortunately there many mentally ill people who would rather be out on the streets than be confined in mental institutions.
There should not be morality tied to being rich or poor. Economic situations can change.
We can judge someone for falling into poverty due to sloth, laziness, refusal to work, drug addiction, and other immoral choices.

If it's ok to stomp on the US flag, is it also ok to stomp on the rainbow flag gays identify with? How about a flag that says BlackLivesMatter? By the way, the picture is from an islamist protest against gays.
