Not necessarily, not really, and not all the time all essentially say 'no', but they have different meanings. They all are opposite of yes until necessarily, really, and all the time are explored. So, as an analogy, a blue-eyed blond may be attracted to a hazel eyed brunette, but it is when they meet and those three are explored that leads to likeness (Companionship).
When I hear that adage I always think of magnets where opposite poles attract. But, what is hidden is when they meet the electrons flow in one direction as a single unit becoming one big magnet. If they didn't work as a single unit eventually they would repel themselves becoming separated → attracted → separated → and so forth. Two individual magnets spinning in place. So, perhaps, seen is the inner workings are the power of unity. I dun'no . . . just pondering . . .
