It will get harder to make money and save money as you get older. not easier.
For a variety of reasons, you may not want to work as you get older, your health may cause problems, you may have kids to support, etc. etc.
You can't go by how your parents or grandparents were able to make more money as they gained experience and/or seniority at a company, things have changed, and the older you get these days, the easier it is to replace you with a younger, cheaper, more easily manipulated worker... this goes for most fields, from Nursing to Mechanics.
So don't live like there is no tomorrow, and don't live like you'll have more opportunity and ability to make good money in the future... because that is no certainty.

If you want to travel and explore the world, do so when you are young... and if you find a place in the world where you are happy don't put off moving there for some time when you are ready... do it when the opportunity presents itself. Its much easier to move and make changes when you are young, and don't have kids or other responsibilities.

Don't get attached to stuff. I have seen plenty of young women especially, get tied to their furniture, their car, their stuff... The less you are attached to, the less likely you are to get stuck in a bad situation, its easier to replace a bed, a sofa, a table, than it is to lug it around, or pay for it to be in storage.
