When in a relationship, is it smart to blame yourself in a fight to keep your partner happy or...?
Blaming yourself only makes the problem worse.Face the problem head on and solve it!
If you can't be true to yourself then (you) won't be happy!
Sometimes you have to (agree to disagree) and let it go.
However (if you're always fighting) you may be incompatible.
There is no amount of "work" or "communication" that can overcome being with someone who simply does NOT want what you want. Compatibility trumps compromise!
There are only two ways to experience joy and peace of mind in relationships: We either get what we want or we learn to be happy with what we have. Accept them (as is) or move on.
The goal is find someone who (already is) what you want in a mate, Life is too short to be trying to "change water into wine".
