   Why did your first 'real' relationship end? What good came out of it?
   
   We all remember the first person we fell in love with or those we thought we were in love with. My first is the father of my children and it ended because of various conflicts, betrayal, and trust issues.
   
   On a positive note, a couple months after I left him, I met my fiance and we have a very happy family together and I know we are in love with one another. We respect and support one another no matter what and put our children first.

   It started in second grade and even with a few flirtations I knew we would one day wed. I just kept waiting. He never spoke to me until we were in a debate as freshmen because he had to. It didn't pan out you might say and I learned patience is not always the best or wisest virtue.

   The reason my first relationship ended was because I would not take her virginity from her, she wanted sex and I wanted to wait because I truly believed I would marry her and I wanted it to be special.  Weeks later she went another route and left me.  What I got out of it...I learned how much a woman can really hurt you without even touching you. 
   
   The positive?  I learned what love really is but only found this out years down the road.

   hi there amberjones21, my first real love ended because in the mean time of that relashionship I had to leave in a foreign country at work...after I left it lasted for 5 months then she left me because she wanted me close...and she only had to wait 2 more weeks for me to go back home..I think it was fault of her parents ...I haven't learned anything yet, because I am still in love with her, even if I am in a relashionship with another one at long distance again...I am too stubborn...
