Of course you would love them, but probably wouldn't be able to trust them.. It wouldn't change the way you felt about them, but it would definitely make you question your relationship.

Well, they're still the person you fell in love with, that hasn't changed. Trust issues would only come if you found out she purposefully made an effort to hide it from you. If you never asked about her past jobs or sexual experiences, she wasn't obligated to fill you in on all the details of her past. Her past is her past and her actions were her own, and she does not have to defend herself to anyone.

That being said, if she "hid" it from you, trust would be called in to question..among other things. Why didn't she tell you? What was she worried about? Did she think you wouldn't love her if you knew? Did she think you would be disappointed in her and begin to treat her differently? This is something she cannot erase from her past, perhaps she is scared that it will always have a negative effect on her future and therefore would rather make like it never happened. We all have mistakes in our past that we wish we hadn't made. Not condoning lying though.

Also, it comes to you as a person. Would you date someone who was in that profession? Please note that 'hooker' is a long way from 'stripper'. If this was something that changed the way you see her, if you love her and wish things to be, you can take the time to accept her and love her for who she is.

Also, on the subject of still loving someone, it's possible to love someone, but not like them as a person.

It depends a lot on what sort of character I was before marrying that girl.

If you love somebody you love them for who they are, not who or what they were. Love should be unconditional. And remember nobody has a perfect past, it is also something we can't change. So my answer is a definate YES.
