How to Make Centerpieces with Lights

In the last few years, centerpieces with lights or (lighted centerpieces) have become all the rage. At first, you needed a professional event coordinator or lighting company in order to accomplish centerpiece lighting. Today, there are many companies offering alternatives to the thrifty bride or event host to make centerpieces with lights yourself.

Wire lights, waterproof lights and centerpiece bases make DIY centerpieces with lights available to the masses. So, where do you get them and how do you use them?

These are relatively new. The original lighted bases were all round so now we have a choice in shape. It is a 5" square that features 16 bright white led lights. It runs on 3 AA batteries and holds up to 25 pounds. It shoots light up through and around your centerpiece. Very neat effect!
