Not really. Beautiful is more valuable than sexy. Being sexually attractive you can attract all of the wrong type of attention.
Good answer... I asked because I find that some women get very excited when people say they look sexy.
Because it is a nice complement, but beautiful is better.
Being sexy is not a physical trait, it's charm, a way you look at someone, a tilt of the head, a wink, a smile, a walk, even a smell, and women that are naturally sexy, don't have to try, they just are, and women that aren't, can't learn it or it will look fake. Being beautiful however is always left up to the beholder. Therefore, I can't answer that because I don't care which one I get. Being attractive, beautiful, sexy, is all a part of being a woman and I'm glad to take all those compliments in.
Rosana, I asked because I wonder whether the adjective, "sexy", comes from the root word, "sex".
No not for me at all. I feel like looking your best helps you feel your best but trying to draw the wrong attention ends badly.
Most girls nowadays, specifically those of my generation, fail to understand that exposing your body parts and being sexually attractive will simply attract a man who is aroused/horny, not one who values your appearance or beauty. A man who is simply searching for a temporary feeling of pleasure will resort to anything and anyone to satisfy his needs; it's human nature.
I believe that women would rather be beautiful. It's immature little girls who prefer to be labeled "sexy".
KFusha, a very lucid explanation... but seems like married women enjoy being called "sexy" here in Malaysia! Could it be due to Hollywood and the fashion magazines, I wonder!
You hit the nail on the head buddy! That's exactly why.
Hollywood yes, but calling your girl sexy, beautiful, hot, is just your way of expressing of how you feel, they may want you to say that, and it takes a real man to say it to his girl/woman while shes in sweats cleaning the toilet.
Beautiful is forever, sexy is just for a second...the beauty is just so hard to define, unique to a special individual, bringing out the best in the person in unification of appearance and soul.
Beata, I believe you are referring to inner beauty. Outer beauty is like a flower that fades after it has served its purpose.
