   I suppose it depends where one lives and the people (they) associate with. As well as how often they look over their shoulders to see if other people disapprove. Keep the focus on your mate.
   These days more people are upset at the prospect of gay and lesbian couples getting married than interracial relationships.
   In both instances the larger metropolitan areas tend to be the most accepting of having a "live and let live" mentality.
   (Here are three things to keep in mind.)
   Life is a (personal) journey.
   Each of us gets to (choose) our own friends, lovers, and spouse.
   You are responsible for (your) own happiness.
   I have never cared what others thought about my mate selection process. After all it is (my) life. I've dated women of various races and nationalities. In my opinion a  Porsche Carrera GT in any color is still a  Porsche Carrera GT.

   There will forever be "conservative" rejection in various forms in different regions.  Are interracial relationships more acceptable, certainly we observe an increase in these relationships. As society evolves acceptance for interracial relationships will increase.
   Love is love. Love sees no color just the beauty of one's soul.

   In most  places interracial marriages are accepted.Also it depends where one  is living.
