In the present day world, I would be regarded as a fool if I say that money is not important. Yet there is a deep fact about love and money and their correlation with each other.
Love is something which is not material and difficult to find when lost. But we all know that money is something that if earned as well can be lost at any time.
Whereas if we are to compare then I would say Love is the first priority, because where there is true love, an individual has the reason to struggle in life and get what he wants for his dear ones. But if he has nobody to love than the money earned is equal to sand in your hand.

On a deeper level, there doesn't seem to be a difference between love and money. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that every relationship is either adding or costing you money.

Money is a wonderful tool. It allows you to pay your bills, get your wants, and go on vacations, and many will spend their entire life striving to get that money in order to get all of the things they desire. If someone is truly in love they would give all of that up and live with nothing just to feel love.

That being said to be realistic life requires money, so use that tool so that you can enjoy love all the more

Excellent points! And if one has children they'll need even more money to provide food, clothing, larger housing, health insurance, day care, college fund. Anyone who downplays the significance of money is in for a shock. Poverty is not a virtue

Poverty isn't a virtue.  Poor people also want to live THAT GOOD life and are JEALOUS of those who do.  Why do you think there are MOOCHERS?

Generally speaking whatever is missing in one's life seems important at the time. Most people are looking to have a nice combination of both. One of the leading causes of divorce is financial issues.
It's hard to be happy and in love when you're broke and hungry. Rarely is life about having one or the other.
It's about finding a healthy balance.

Indeed Love is more important than money (to begin with the answer to your question). Keep in mind I do not mean in absolute or independent events. Once one has love he/she can be content with much less resources (i. e. Money) and most importantly can begin to look inward rather than outward. Thus, those agents of love will begin to see so much that is hidden in our world and contentment will be achieved and need usually minimized.
On he other hand (not the right hand), when focused on money, one may have enough; however, suddenly he/she requires more and contentment seems "so close yet so far." It is like being caught up in a never ending spiral. Indeed when money is of highest priority love wanes...

NO, it ISN'T! Mature grown ups know that money is more important than love.Love doesn't provide a roof over one's head, put food on the table, pay medical & other bills.Money PROVIDES all these things. If you're HOMELESS,which would be MORE importa

Money is more important than love.  It provides a myriad of choices.  It is necessary for a decent lifestyle.  It provides security and a safety net when times become socioeconomically precarious and perilous.  It also ensures a financial legacy and a leg up for future generations.   Love does not and will never provide such things.

A smart, mature, and intelligent person staunchly contends and maintains that money is more important than love.  Also realistic people with foresight assert that money is the essence of society and life for without money, humankind will live at a state of constant poverty, penury, struggle, and want.  It is only the naïve, innocent, and unaware who always believe that love is more important than money.  Well, such people will receive quite a wake up call if they fall through the socioeconomic cracks into homelessness and utter, desolate poverty, hmmmm.

      "Romance without finance is nonsense"
I remember hearing that one a long time ago. The Beatles sang "All You Need Is Love" and afterwards they jumped in their limo and headed towards their private jet. LOL!

Romance without finance is ultimate stupidity. Intelligent people always put socioeconomics first and then relationship. It is called dating and mating smart. If more people did THIS, most, if not all socioeconomic problems wouldn't exist!

It would be interesting to see how long the love lasts without the essential amount of money. By essential  amount I mean, the amount of money essential to buy a house, food, clothes, entertainment and other stuff for her and you. Love cannot exist without these things.Your girlfriend will put up with you for some time if you don't have money hoping that things will get better, but for a lifetime ? I don't think so . Love is important but so is money . I am not saying that money is the most important thing in this world or it is more important than love but you need money to fulfill basic human needs and even people who are in love cannot escape these needs.

EXACTLY!  Anyone who strongly asserts that love is more important than money is acting unrealistically or perhaps h/she has not been exposed to the mechanisms of society.  The world RUNS on $$ so $$ is THE MOST IMPORTANT!

guys at some points you are are right but tell me one thing why human being earn money? to spend all money on himself/herslf... if it is so then why people have family? nobody likes a lonely life. Money only matter when love is their and if love is their then only money matters... imagine a whole world have been given to you but except you there is no other people on this earth there is no problem of money, no boundaries for you and unlimited food to eat do anything..May be you feel happy, fun but how long? for 1 year, 2 years but not more then that. because you will need someone. Love is a beautiful feeling and has its own value. This world need love more than money
