Suck It In and Get a Life Mate! sad

If you disrespect women as much as slag them off... then you only have yourself to blame for your insecurities! smile

Maybe it's your 'short comings' that put you there in the first place! hmm

And If you are about to Spam the Site with a wonderful vibrating hammer or something... forget it! big_smile

Because men haven't taken the time and showed the kind of consideration that might make women in general consider where their interests might otherwise be more pleasurably spent.

Because men are not worth our time tongue At least a pair of boots will last a season and many years if made out of good quality leather.  But a man... who knows, especially if he thinks we are only interested in money and shopping!

This type of question is degrading to women- only a stupid man would ask it.

I've always heard women care about bons bons (although I've never met a bon bon in person, myself).

Also - nailpolish color and soap operas, of course   mad   roll

I would say not all women care about money and shopping as much as you might think they do. I actually do not like shopping all that well. As far as money is concerned, we all need a certain amount in order to pay our bills and buy our groceries, so it's natural to care about having the finances to survive.

I do disagree with your premise. You forget to mention that females have need just like men do. If all you attract are women that only care about money and shopping, then I would suggest you change your approach style!

Some men always complain about women needing money and shopping, while many guys present themselves as rich in the beginning of the relationship!

You need to be yourself and if you are well off, be very happy to enjoy it with someone you care about and love!

let me enlighten any of you delightful men who think that women are only interested in shopping and etc.  -

sometimes we women KNOW that it makes no sense to show our interest in the many other things we are knowledgeable and involved in because the guy is just not listening!  Not that I can say for sure it's his fault - I've read about studies done that indicate men actually cannot hear the higher pitched voices as well - whether they have tuned them out or are just biologically not equipped, that's not clear.  They just pay better attention to lower (men's) voices, I think.

But sometimes I wonder if most of men are trained from childhood to belittle, berate and bewilder women.  Are they mysoginists (thinking less of women) innately or do they, at a very early age, absorb the idea that women are lesser beings from their adult male models?  I was shocked once when my 4 year old son came into the house and asked for 4 more popsicles - for the 3 kids and the 1 girl outside!  not only was he already doing math!, but he thought that girls weren't actually kids!

It's really interesting = and now that I've reached that plateau where I don't really care much what others think of me - it is just fascinating what people come up with!

I can't answer this question for any woman but myself. I like to go shopping because I like to look nice and love to provide eye-candy for my fiance. Everyone should care about money, because you have to have finances to live. You have to eat, pay bills, entertain, and plan for retirement.

There is an old saying:  If a woman is to be financially independent, she must have an independent spirit.  There is no need to explain anything, just be.  If you have not encountered those who have matured into other venues, keep seeking.  Shopping as a compulsion is generally the result of boredom or lack of direction in life.  It provides a sense of accomplishment, however false, hollow and temporary that accomplishment may be.

As for me, I find it much more gratifying to manage my own finances, create and fulfill my own dreams, and establish my own agenda.  That way there is no one to blame, no reason to contribute to unnecessary consumerism, and much more to fall back on in conversation.

I would just like to point out how the asking of a simple question has generated so much negativity.  As well as personal attacks.  You may know nothing of the asker of this question, but because of the reaction you have to reading a few words, you assume you know this person.  The negativity you feel while reading this question, comes from within YOU.  We have no control over what the world may bring, but we do have control over how we respond.

Men like shopping like women do. I think it is just a matter of what kind of stuff men and women shop for. Also, men tend to be more purposeful and intentional shoppers while women tend to buy things on impulse.

I am going to answer you. Maybe that's all we care about because we are superficial, and love spending money. No, that's not true, but if you are going to ask a silly question, maybe you are going to get a silly answer.
