When I Need to Say, "I Miss You."
Missing Someone You Love
Being part of a relationship can be a wonderful experience. However, when speaking about a long-distance relationship, it takes an extra special bond to make the relationship work.
Even so, a long-distance relationship is not all bad, even if you do go several days, weeks or months - at a stretch - without seeing each other. However, because you spend so much time away from each other, it's important for the other to know the longing is mutual.
I fully that you not only miss spouses/partners: you miss friends and extended family members, too, especially when going long stretches of time without seeing them. You miss your children when they've moved away to attend college and when they've moved out to start a family of their own. Even so, the focal point of this lens will be missing your partner because you are separated by geographical distance.
Life can be difficult sometimes because you miss your partner so much but it is the price you pay for loving another person. Even so, the rewards far outweigh the cost.
Come along and take a journey to explore simple ways you can tell your partner that you miss him/her.

You can tell your partner
you miss him
any day of the year.
It doesn't have to be a
An unexpected phone call or simple message left on
an answering machine
If Tomorrow Never Comes... - I'll really miss you.
My mind wanders freely and goes through an onslaught of emotions. I'm the type of person who can just wonder what it would feel like to be in a certain predicament and I can cry.
When you tell your partner that you miss him/her ...
A Simple Poem
Saying, "I miss you."
Write a poem telling him/her how much he/she means to you - how much you miss him/her and wish he/she was by your side.
Print it on special paper, frame it and send it in the mail - without saying anything about it! He/She will receive a wonderful surprise when it arrives. Furthermore, you can read the words to him/her over the phone as he/she reads your framed print.
If you are no good with coming up with your own words, send a greeting card, whether printed or electronic.
This is a poem I wrote about missing my partner. We had only been in a relationship for a couple of months - though we had been friends for several years - but we enjoyed spending time with each other. Whether I read him some of the poems I wrote, tickled him until he begged for mercy or acted like a clown to make him laugh, we certainly did - and do - enjoy each other's company.
Miss your hugs and kisses, too.
Miss your arms, you know I do.
Whenever I see you smile
It makes my life seem so worthwhile.
In your arms I yearn to be
'cause you are my reality.
It's you for whom my spirit longed -
Why my heart doth sing a song.
I think of you all thru' the day -
Can't wait to relax so we can play.
Miss your hugs and kisses, too
Miss your arms; oh, yes, I do!
