Knit Weddings

Knitting Projects for Weddings

As my wedding approached, I wondered how I could incorporate knitting into my big day. I would be married in the summer, so I wouldn't use a knit wedding stole or shrug. The wedding would be outside and potentially windy, so I wouldn't make a knit wedding veil. I decided that the perfect project for myself would be a knit wedding garter, as shown in this photo.

Other knitters want their craft to be a larger part of their day. I have seen patterns for knit wedding dresses in addition to all of the accessories. In this lens, I will introduce you to the world of knitting for weddings.

One of the patterns in this book is a knit wedding dress! It is a very simple style, and unique when compared to boutique wedding dresses.
