lets talk about hurt

Updated on January 21, 2012

Today is really no different than any other day. It was full of it's share of smiles, that is until a person thought that they would cause some problems for every one around them. They thought they would smooth it over with a hambuger from a restaraunt. Why he thought that he would do this, I wonder. He accomplished what he wanted to do. We're all depressed around here. And, I am so depressed that i'm thinking very serisouly about leaving tommorrow when every one is gone, or worse. Why is it that someone so lonely and in so much turmoil in their own life must do this to one who is happy. Yes, our actions can have serious affects on others without knowing just how deep it can be. My friend's marriage has been deeply affected by this, and it may be over, all over someone's selfish actions. God put us here to help, love, and care for one another. Not just ourselves! If one of has a heart attack over all of this, then is that what his goal was? If it was, then that was very selfish. My other friend that is in a long-term marriage that her spouse won't have sex or show any affection to is very much in alot of pain, but on the outside you wouldn't know it. I'm in alot of pain, but on the outside you wouldn't know it, all for what the fact that no one really cares, or do they? You couldn't tell. Is this how it's supposed to be, really? I would like to live in a world where people were genuine and truly cared. People truly loved one another, not hurt or judged one another. We were all in peace. No hunger on any level. I want happiness for every one. Let's all strive for just that, please! Please give some hope! Do you realize what this would do for the world? What happened to compassion? Is it wrong to want to be who you are, whether it's homosexual or straight? Is it wrong to be with your lover, if that's what truly makes you happy? Why belittle some one to the point they want to die or withdraw, so not to be hurt again. What does that accomplish? Here's a challenge. Try to truly love one another; be understanding; don't judge or belittle each other. Try this for one day tommorrow, and try it forever, then see what a difference it will make in your and each other's lives!

I wanted to add something to this. I've heard that hurting people hurt others. And, I believe

this is true. This man must really be hurting. All we can do is really love other's, whether we agree with them or not. And, we must not be hypocritical either. And, God tells us to pray for

one another, and that includes our enemies!

"don't judge or belittle" is a good strategy to go by. Forgiveness is hard, but necessary! Voted up!

Thank-you so much for your comment!! And,yes, we must forgive! The Lord requires it.And,yes, we also have to love

everyone, including our enemies. If we don't, the Lord won't forgive us.

Well it's true that even when people hurt us, that we must forgive them and as you say, know they have or do expereince so sort of pain, in which they have not overcome, thereby they lash out in others hoping to relieve their own. :(

It tells us in the bibl we cannot hate our brother....I recently was hurt deeply by someone who I'm supposed to be able to trust. I was pretty upset and decided not to talk to them anymore, then I realized the anger in my heart and that I had to forgive them, whether I talk to them or not. Pray for your enemies- they say forgiveness is for You, not them, peace of mind, so you are not carrying aroung "them" in your head all the time.

      wonderful. :)
