Some Things To Ask Yourself

Seeking success in the dating arena? Have questions? Want to know how you can improve your dating results?

If this describes you, then you should ask some questions about yourself and your dating goals. These will help you to solidify in your mind exactly what you are looking for and how you intend to achieve it.

It is a good idea to consider all of these questions carefully one by one and to write down your answers. By doing so, you will be better equipped to pursue your dating goals with confidence.

The process of dating and romance is both an art and a science.

You can read up on everything you can find on the subject, and this will make you more knowledgeable about the science of dating, but it will not make you a true "artist."

However, you can find answers to many of your questions regarding dating by doing a little reading up on the subject, talking to friends and doing some thinking of your own.

Although arming yourself with knowledge of dating, romance and seduction will help you in your efforts at dating success, they will not equip you with the information you need to handle every situation. For that, you will need time and experience.

Some further questions that you should ask yourself

Understand yourself to understand your needs and desires

These questions can't be answered with a simple "Yes" or "No" response. You must do some soul searching to arrive at the correct answer to these questions. To really understand yourself and what you want from the dating process, I think you will find it to be worth the effort:

What do I find appealing in another person?

What do I do if I decide someone is not right for me?

How can I improve my chances of success in choosing the right person?

What Is Love? What Is Infatuation?

There is a type of romantic love–call it a passion–that God does not instill on everyone. In fact, very few fall so deeply, so madly in love. But is it love or mere infatuation?

Let us explore and consider such a romantic type of passion. Have you experienced such a romantic passion? Do any of the following describe you?

You have sent more than one romantic e-card to your significant other in a single day.

You have been moved to write a piece of poetry for your sweetheart that he or she received as if it were a work of great literature.

You have been moved to search frantically for love quotes online.

You have been driven by a desire to make your significant other happy.

If you study the annals of history, you will find instances of wars that were fought for the love of women. That's right! Wars have been fought by those who were in a romantic phase. This is certainly a sign of passion. But is it a sign of true love?

In such a stage of romantic passion, a man and woman may break every convention and defy all societal norms in the pursuit of their romantic relationship. The passion of such a moment is undeniable.

Someone caught in the throes of such a romantic passion may even kill over their beloved. In such cases, all reason is thrown to the wind and the heart rules completely over the head.

The two partners in such a relationship cannot imagine that they could ever break up, that their love could ever fade. They will not listen to any suggestion that they should reconsider their love or that they may not be suited to one another.

The love two people may have for each other may seem like an obsession, but isn't that what love is–an obsession with another person?

The reality is that of all the traits of a passionate relationship named above, only the desire to make one’s sweetheart happy, even at the expense of one's own happiness, is a sign of true love. The others are more likely to be signs of mere infatuation.

If you experience true love, it will be unlike any other experience you have ever had. If you fall in love, it is more than just a phase, and it has the greatest chance of surviving against all odds. If your love for your sweetheart is true, if it is not just mere infatuation, then you are one of the lucky ones. You should enjoy and nurture the romance.

This is not the end, but the beginning

Please understand that no questionnaire will ever give you all the answers in life. You are a complex being and no quiz can fully cover all the multifaceted aspects of you. A quiz can, however, serve a Valuable purpose in giving you ideas and making you think.

You'll never get the answer to a question or problem unless you think about it first. So put a little thought into the dating process. Study this quiz and try to come up with new questions (and answers) of your own.

Undue or excessive navel gazing is probably not a good idea, but neither is going into the dating process totally blind, with no idea of who you are, what you are looking for or why.

How To Succeed In Love

You should know what you want and don't want in the opposite sex. Make a list of "likes" and "don't likes" and narrow it down to the top five or ten in each category to keep it from being too restrictive.
