the fat women that men really like

Updated on January 5, 2011

The type of "fat" woman a man really wants

As it is known in the US as of late, people have been getting heavier, specifically i will focus on women. There has also been a backlash on super skinny fashion models that look like they don't eat and are unhealthy/dead looking. There also as been an effort to mainstream curvier or full figured women in the modeling industry. These women have been used before but mostly in the urban market which is limited. Meanwhile, i do notice that there hasn't been an attempt to mainstream super plus sized models. With the women in the US being heavier there are also different categories of being over the average weight. Some are okay and still healthy but others are not. I do notice many women try to sugar coat the issue.

In general have men accepted heavier women for long term relations? Its both yes and no, and i believe its always been this way. First thing women need to understand is that men are okay with certain types of "fat" women for long term. I'm excluding short term for obvious reasons because in this case it may not matter her weight depending on who. Men won't just go for just any fat woman all because technically they are all over weight. There have been cultures that encouraged women being very fat but it had nothing to do with beauty, it had to do with economics of being able to buy lots of food.  Many queens of Europe were hefty, thus one queen of Holland, Bertha, gain the expression "big Bertha."

Now what type of fat women are men cool with? Men like mostly the fat women we call today curvy or thick and not many but key word, few, regular fat women (not obese) . They don't like women heavy to the extreme. Basically men prefer this type of woman who basically are not that much over weight. These women still have their feminine shape that men can still be attracted to. I also mentioned few regular fat women because some still have their shape but it is rare for the most part. There are examples of female celebrities, Ana Nicole Smith before her large weight gain then after some weight lose, Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Khloe Kardashian, many hip hop video vixens/ models and Rachael Ray. Plus not only they look better but compared to other heavy women they are actually just as healthy as average weight women. For me the main reason long term why men don't like other heavy women is for the factor of the belly, it is just not too appealing. Possibly even cellulite but in reality all weights of women can get that just the heavier women will have more of it. Some women try to put all of these over weight women in the same box but in reality men know the difference between them and you can't fool them. Because women and at many times the mainstream media put them all in the same box men won't admit to liking or being okay with over weight women since the image may not be the one they really desired.
