Definition of the word Guide: Which means to lead or to direct to something or to somewhere.
Psalms chapter 48 - 14 : For this God is our God for ever and ever, he will be our guide even unto death.
Proverbs chapter 6 - 7 : Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler.
Isaiah chapter 58 - 11 : And the Lord shall guide thee, continually and satisfy thy soul in drought and make fat thy bones and thou shalt be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose water fail not.
Jeremiah chapter 3 - 4 : Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, my father,thou art the guide of my youth.

The word guide has a power all on it's own, because it leads us , or directs us to something, somewhere or someone. the bible tells us "Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth ; is come, he will guide you into truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall speak: and he will shew you things to come."
This is an awesome scripture that's telling us something extra special, it's telling us that God has given us the spirit of truth. Our guide shows us the future of the things to come, if we will only listen. There is no better guide than our God given guide of truth, because then we want be mislead by false prophets and false doctrines. Let us be leadby our God given guide and he will lead us in the plain path of r;ighteousness.
