Today's daily words Of encouragement word is Avenge: Which means to exact punishment of a wrong , on behalf of another or to be vengeful .  We are taught not to be vengeful ,but to pray and ask God to help us to forgive the person for theirs vengeance upon us.

It's very easy for us to want to exact vengeance for pain caused by someone against us, but w e have to remember thaty God said that vengeance was his and not ours. The children of God is not suppose to take actions in our hands, and make someone pay for the pain or hurt that someone caused us. We're suppose to let go and  let God Handle it.

Vengeance is a strong emotion and the subject of much fiction, especially Westerns and some mystery stories.

Those of us in Christ Jesus have no room for vengeance in our lives. It is God's responsibility to exact punishment according to His wisdom. To take revenge ourselves is to not only usurp God's authority but to endanger our own status with God.

I thank you for this hub Creativeone, which highlights the sin of vengeance.

      Love and peace in Him,

      Forever His,
