How Many Words Can We Say About Mother?

Updated on May 6, 2013

How Many Words Can We Say About Mother?

How many words can we say about Mother?

Or, how many ways can we let her know

Of the gratitude unspoken in our heart ?

It may be the little words,"I love you so."

But can that pay for all of her tenderness

The love that's flowed through your life span?

Will the little words, "I love you,"cheer a heart?

If it's your own Mother's heart, it truly can.

But maybe you don't have an earthly mother,

Or, maybe you've never known a mother's care.

When all the hurt and sorrow surround you ,

Take it all to Jesus for His Love is always there.

Mother's Day is a day to honor all mothers

No matter how old or young that mother may be.

Let us thank God then thank that Mother

For the love that she has given to you or me.

We never know how long we will be blessed

Or, if we will ever have another chance to say

The words that we may have left unspoken,

Three little words make a Happy Mother's Day!

Clara Kish

I know this is a little early but I would

rather it be early than late .I hope that

everyone on here has a Happy Mother's

Day and many more of them . If you

don't have a mother now look about

you,I am sure that there are many lonely

mother's who could use a little cheer this

day. After my mother passed on I would

call her best friend and wish her a Happy

Day. I would also call her on birthday

and other days , she is gone now.It comes

to all of us sooner or later,we must be

ready when our time comes to go .

Have a Happy Mother's Day !

Hello Jackie, I see you have been going back a way to some of the older poems. I am glad that you like the one about Mothers. It would be wonderful if everyone had a Christian Mother, Just think what a wonderful world this would be. Now we are in a anti God world and it is so hard to believe this has happened so quickly. It is so hard to think that people think we just evolved with no Creator , man is supposed to be intelligent, how will they answer to The Lord?Tell Faith I hope to get back on here soon. Love to all , Clara

Just beautiful Clara. Mothers are so very special, there really are no words to describe the love I have for my mother. I just miss her so much and there was not enough time on earth with her. I can't wait to see her again in our heavenly bodies and I can almost feel the praises we will both have right now. Bless you for this and those thoughts. ^+
