If I can take care of the little things, I can take care of the big things.

He is so good to us

‘Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. Mark 10:18 New International Version

This morning while Bible reading a recent incident came to mind.

Because of stumbling about getting ready to leave for an appointment I left the apartment latter than usual. While waiting for the bus and worrying about being late the thought came to me Trust in the Lord. He will get you there in time. I relaxed and gave it to Him to get me there on time. As it ended up I arrived the same time as the person I was meeting.

Now two days later while Bible reading the thought came to me:” If I can take care of the little things, I can take care of the big things.” This was referring to a concern about my finances.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:6-8 New International Version

Prayer: Thank You El Shaddai (the God who is suffient for the needs of His people) for reassuring me of Your loving care You vowed You would always provide for me. In the name of the greatest giver Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day.

      I agree,

Sometimes I think God sits there and laughs like it is a good joke on our behalf.

He says see you worry over nothing.

Thank you for sharing this! It is amazing how God always pulls through, and sometimes He waits to the very last minute. It's almost as if He's testing me to see what I will do, but this kind of testing always helps to strengthen me. And so I have learned to somewhat welcome it. :)
