The children of Israel were God’s chosen people. Within His Word are many marvelous and miraculous situations where He demonstrated His Love & His Power to them and many others! He led them through many tumultuously journeys & battles! They would sing Songs of Praise before going into battle. We can learn from their pilgrimage what happened when they obeyed God and what happened when they disobeyed God! They wandered in the desert for forty years due to their disobedience yet the Lord still provided for them! We today do not have to wander aimlessly or pointlessly through life! We who confess the Lord Jesus Christ are adopted into His family and become His heirs! God can and will provide for us as well! God is faithful and just we can always trust Him!

In order to better fulfill our life’s purpose we must daily seek the Lord’s WILL & WAY for our lives! We are to be "in the world but not of the world!" The Lord teaches us to pray “Your Kingdom come, Your WILL be done on earth as it is in Heaven…”
There is reason for alarm today in this 21st century because there is so much that goes on contrary to the Word of God! The Lord humbly came to us as a child born in the least likely expected place. He was mistreated, scorned greatly and despised by many! He suffered tremendously for us! Yet, He lived a victorious life for us and overcame sin in the flesh! It was through the Lord that is world was spoke into existence!
We learned in Psalms 23 that we are His sheep and He is a wonderful Good Shepherd that loves us! He is faithful and cares for us! We have so much to be THANKFUL for! It is important that we humble ourselves seek his face and prayerfully ask for His direction! Life is a journey! His Word is “ALIVE” and can strengthen, prepare and nourish us for the journey!

There are times when we need to stay closer than usual to the Lord! When in a storm or a serious situation we are to draw closer to the Lord! We need to seek out His presence and bare our souls to Him! When we are experiencing hurt, afraid, sad, depressed, in despair, doubtful, unsure He is there to strengthen, encouraged and reassure us! God desires to Bless us with his unlimited plethora of blessings! We can become elated, restored, content and hopefully optimistic as we learn to TRUST HIM!
“Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His Holy place? He who has a clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God his Savior!”
There is no power greater than GOD! He is The Most High GOD! During worship in ancient times the priest recognized that God was Omnipotent! They would ask the congregation; “Who was the King of Glory?” and they would respond "The LORD strong and mighty!" The LORD is the Commander and Chief of Heaven’s armies! He is Eternal His WORD is alive and powerful!" History teaches us that this particular hymn was sung on the first day of the week in Temple worship! In this day and age it is important that we give GOD the honor that He so deserves! We must prepare each day to live as though He were to return at any moment! It is through Jesus Christ that we have the Victory over life and death! We who accept Him as Lord as Savior will live with Him in Heaven eternally! Praise God! & Thank You Lord!
When Jesus was crucified He descended deep into the earth and set those held captive free! He took back the power of death and the grave! It is because of Him the everlasting doors to Heaven are open! He is the Door the only Way to the Father! HE is strong and mighty! He rose never to die again with the promise of eternal life to all that believe in Him! Death does not have dominion over Him! He is mighty and He has won the battle! PRAISE GOD! This is why it is so very important to know the Word of God for yourself! Do not let anyone lead you away from the Lord or undermine the validity of His WORD! It is immutable and infallible!
The Lord is the Lord of hosts! There is an innumerable host that He reigns over! Our little finite minds cannot conceive the totality of God! Whatever we think He is; He is indeed so much more! Jesus is coming back for those who have not yet passed over to heaven at the appointed time when He returns! We can REJOICE in the Lord each and every day knowing that as long as we are on this side of heaven we can access Him 24/7! His everlasting doors are open! We in turn must humble ourselves submit, confess, repent and apply His Word to our lives daily! Trust God with your life above all others! HIS WORD is able to cleanse us from all unrighteousness! Know that inHIS time “The Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout; and the dead in Christ will rise first; we which are alive will be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lords in the air, and so shall we ever be with the LORD!”
Trust God despite the many challenges of life that come your way! We continue to hear of wars and rumors of wars! Economic disasters, declining property values that are now rising, raging gas prices going up and down, changing times and many climatic disasters throughout the land as well as worldwide, the incessant threat from both foreign and local terrorists, yet;know that God is patiently giving mankind time to draw closer to Him! The Lord wants to be a part of your life each and every day! You can always find Hope in the Lord! Seek the Lord above all else! Remember! “This is the day that the LORD has made! Let us REJOICE and be GLAD in it!” The Lord reigns, rules and super rules! He is indeed the King of GLORY! He is the Most High God! “TO GOD BE THE GLORY!"
This Psalm concludes saying; “Lift up your heads, O you gate; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is HE, this King of Glory? The Lord Almighty - HE IS THE KING OF GLORY!”
