Simple potions and spells

Casting spells and brewing potions may seem like difficult things to do. However, they are in truth magic can be really simple and can be done using items easily found around the home. The 5 potions that I shall speak of today are similarly very simple to do. You only need to perform them and brew them with belief and intention. This is the most important element in magic, belief. If you really think that something is going to help and assist you, it generally will.

1. Venus power tea potion

Venus was the Roman goddess of beauty, sensuality, fertility, women and love among other things. This potion is empowered with her magic. Make and drink this magical tea before the start of your day. To make it, you will need a cup of boiling water, a teaspoon of honey and a bag of jasmine tea.

Hold the tea bag in your hands and empower it with intent and energy by thrice saying,

Beautiful Venus, let your enchantment shine within me

Let me feel your magic from now unto eternity.

Place the tea bag in the cup of boiling water and let it steep for about five minutes. Once it has steeped, slowly sip your brew while visualising the beauty and love of Venus filling you. See yourself becoming more beautiful, inside and out reflecting the power of Venus.

2. Irene peace potion

Eirene or Irene was the Greek goddess of peace. She was one of the three Horia or keepers of the gates of heaven. This potion requires a ceramic teapot, three cups of boiling water, two chamomile tea bags, a mint tea bag and half a vanilla pod cut into around one inch bits.

Place the ingredients, one at a time into the ceramic tea pot. Each time you add an ingredient, sing,

Irene do bless me now

Harmony and peace I draw to me now

By your power, so mote it be.

Allow the potion to steep for about twenty minutes. Once it has steeped, strain the tea into a tall glass and have it with ice and a sprig of fresh mint. Before taking each sip, say,

I am filled with harmony and peace .

3. Mars lust and love potion

Mars is generally known as the Roman god of War but he is also an agricultural god. He directs his energies toward creating conditions that allow crops to grow, which may include warding off hostile forces of nature.

This potion calls on the potent power of Mars to aid in nurturing and protecting the love and lust you share with your beloved. You will need a pinch of dried ginger, a green tea bag and a cup of boiling water.

As you place each ingredient into the boiling water, chant,

Hail Mars, shine down on me today

Ward of hostilities, nurture my love this day.

Let passion be released

Love and devotion be increased. So mote it be.

Once you've allowed your tea to steep for about five minutes drink it thinking thoughts of love and passion. Visualise your beloved and you sharing loving and passion without interference from outside sources.

4. Eros true love potion

Eros is the son of Aphrodite and Ares. Although many today associate Eros only with erotic or sexual love and beauty, his actual quality of love is both spiritual as well as physical. He is said to cause the love of beauty, healing, freedom, and many other good things as well as the love between people. This potion is to attract love to you. You will need a teaspoon of honey, a jasmine green tea bag and a cup of boiling water. Place each ingredient into the boiling water one at a time and chant,

Eros divine with your arrows of gold

Send love now my way.

My true love I yearn to hold

So make love bloom for me today.

Let your tea steep and as you drink it imagine your true love finding you during the course of the day. Visualise how you will feel when you meet your beloved, how you will express your love for each other. Feel your lover coming to you and allow yourself to be filled with the joy of finally becoming one with your true love.

Great potions. Another one to bookmark for future workings. I am going to recommend the Venus tea to a friend who is single and always searching for Mr. Right, it looks like it would have good potential just before going out for the evening to mingle.
