666 Stamp for the Mark of the Beast

Updated on April 9, 2013
The Mark of the Beast?
The Mark of the Beast?

There are many out there who believe that the Antichrist and the Mark of the Beast - 666- will be happening soon. They point to many things thought to be evidence and proof of what the book of Revelations foretells. Things like worldwide weather changes, the creation of Israel in 1948, extreme weather events, earthquakes, financial crisis, war, etc.

All of these things are items that occur during what the Bible called the first half of the Tribulations, or the first three years of a total period of six years.

Exactly who is the Antichrist for which the world will follow is unknown. The Revelations indicate that he will come to power in Europe and force everyone to take the Mark of the Beast in their left hand. Many thought it was a credit card because the Antichrist will control all of the world's banks and nobody will be able to sell or buy without the Mark. Taking this mark signifies that the person believes in Satan, not Jesus and God.

There have been some prototypes of devices that can be inserted just under a person's skin. These are electronic tags with some data. But some have caused infection and discomfort. Now, there is a medical device that is imprinted into a person's skin. It is just under the skin in the epidermal region. It is an electronic tattoo with micro wires that can transmit data when scanned. Once the device is "stamped" into the skin, a spray-on bandage is sprayed over it.

This mark is easily done with little pain. Just what the Antichrist could use when he comes to power. Since it can be scanned, when imprinted in the hand, a person would only need to pass his hand over the scanner for approval to buy or sell anything.

Its closer than you think.

Instead of trying to figure out the anti-christ. Focus on yourself, to keep your lamp burning and preparing yourself for the coming of the Lord.

      Love the Lord

      Love others

      Obey his commandments.

Nothing false about this development and how it might be used to facilitate the Anticrhist

Instead of looking for and dramatizing false signs of Christ's return, it is more important for you to do all that you are instructed to do by the Bible as a Christian... if you are, then you will be ready when Christ returns and the world ends as we know it. But falsely proclaiming the end of the world is also a sin, and distracts believers from their intended holy paths. Jesus warns us of false prophecies and things of this nature throughout the New Testament... so all I'm saying is, be careful what you preach.

I believe in the pretribulation translation of the Church; since the Church has not left this Earth, we have not entered the first three and one-half years of Daniel's Seventieth week.

Yes, thanks, I stand corrected. Still, this development may come into play for sure.

      Hello perrya,

Yes, there is much discussion about when, what and where as the time draws closer. It does seem very possible that we are in the first half of the tribulation. Earthquakes are so frequent now that they do not even make the headlines any longer, as well as all the lawlessness, warmongering etc etc

I think you made a typo which needs correction in the 3rd paragraph. ...nobody will be able to buy or sell with the mark. Surely it should read ....without the mark? and an error also in the 3rd paragraph....it is the right hand where the mark will be received, not the left hand. (see scripture below) Important points.

      Revelation ch 13: 16-17

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads. 17) and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Scary stuff. Technology is not our friend. I agree with you. It's much closer than folks think. Phasing out cash has already begun as well what with bit coins and electronic transfers.
