A Different Look At 2012

Updated on March 20, 2012

With all the hype about 2012 and the "end of the world", I have been seeking guidance on how to get across to men, women and children why not to get caught up in it.

God, and only God, knows when all will end; or better yet, start over.

I do believe we are in the last days and I see the devil, or Satan as he is called, fighting very hard and causing division and strife.

The devil wants people fearing 2012 and the Mayan calender. He doesn't want you seeking God and Jesus for peace and understanding. That is exactly what we must do.

I am getting ready to go off to a battle that I will need God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit holding and guiding me. I ask your prayers and that all works the way God wants.

With that, lets take a different look at 2012.

These are some cool findings.

Abraham married his sister.

Our wives are our sisters! How is that you say? We all have the same Father! God is our Father so we married our sisters.

Genesis 20:12 says: And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

Keep in mind that we are all children of God. We are all brothers and sisters and God wants us to live together as such. If your brother or sister needs you, you help them.

I thank God for all my brothers and sisters. I pray that we all can come together in unity and open our hearts and let Jesus fill us with His Peace and Love.

We see, hear and speak the ten commandments, but do we really get them?

2012 for Exodus means a lot. It is so important that I feel very blessed making this hub. 2012 is important, because this commandment is very important. I hope every person heeds it and gives honor to the ones that deserve their honor.

Exodus 20:12 says: Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.

It says so you will have many days of life.

2 Chronicles

It seems so often that we have vast armies attacking us. It can be financial, physical and spiritual.

God is our defender; Jesus is our Rock.

2 Chronicles 20:12 shows how the Israelites had to trust in God, just as we need to.

It says: O our God, will you not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon you.

Our eyes need to be upon God, not on the conspiracies of this world. We need only trust in Him.

Proverbs are full of wisdom; wisdom God gives us freely.

God made all for His glory, not for our glory!

20:12 of Proverbs says: The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD has made even both of them.

We really need to be choosy what our ears hear and our eyes see, after all, they were made by God and are to be used for His service.

Jesus, the Son of God was crucified and put in a grave. He arose from that grave showing that He defeated death.

We too can defeat death with God's grace and mercy. It is all through He that defeated it to show us.

We need only accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and death does not reign powerful in us anymore.

John 20:12 says: And saw two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

Jesus is not dead, He is alive! Let Him live with us!

Do you think 2012 is important?

It is!

Revelation 20:12 shows us a lot and tells us about that final day. It is a day no one knows when, but it will be. Sure, it may be this year and it may not.

Where we go after is what is important.

Revelation 20:12 says: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

We will all stand before God and be judged. As for me, I think I will fall down on my face before Him. I don't deserve everlasting life; my works for Him have been very small.

Jesus gave a gift to me and I will accept that gift and cherish it.

I won't worry or sweat the year 2012, but I will always envision Revelation 2012 because we all will be there.

May all glorify God and Praise Him !

People just need to feel something strange, big, or extraordinary. God's love is so real, deep and everlasting that nothing else is necessary. Good hub, Froggie. Blesses for you always.
