A LETTER TO THE SAINTS
Hello Beloved of God, precious in His sight;
You are NOT ordinary people. You are set apart for His purposes. He has called you into His kingdom and given you of His Spirit so that you can come into the realization of the fullness of life the way He designed it to be. Saints, all things ARE new in Christ. Now it is simply a matter of learning how to adapt to the ways of His Kingdom .
Consider what this is saying. Peter is speaking here to those of Israel who haven’t yet turned to God, but look at the truth spoken:
- Acts 3:19-24 - “Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord; and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of His holy prophets that have been from of old. Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me. To him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you. And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. Yea and all the prophets from Samuel and them that followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.”
Saints, are you experiencing “seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,” or are you just going from day to day hoping for things to get better? The world will NEVER provide for you what your Father has arranged for you in Christ. Seasons of refreshing are with the presence of the Lord. “Christ is your life.” “…that you may come into fullness of life.”
The prophets “told of these days.” So what is so special about “these days”? These days consist of us having the spirit of God, being blessed with all spiritual blessings, having already received of Christ’s fullness, being made a new creation where old things are passed away and new things have come and a time when God is for us so who or what could be against us. Oh, saints… “these days” consist of a new kind of time, a time where the glory of God is designed to be manifested in all of its brilliance in us, his people. These are the days which the prophets of old dreamed about.
I’ll be blunt with you, saints. It seems that, to a great degree, we have been lulled to sleep. The potential of what our Father has arranged in Christ, for the most part, lays dormant. Does our life look similar to those around us who don’t believe regarding the Christ? The “refreshing” of these days is waiting to burst forth in all of God’s glory.
- Ephesians 5:14 - “Wherefore he says, Awake, sleeping ones, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall bring you into understanding.”
The understanding of the greatness of “these days” is in Christ. In him is insight into the realities of God’s Kingdom. This verse is written in Ephesians, to those who are faithful in Christ Jesus (see Ephesians 1:1). God’s desire is that we awake to reality in Christ. Pray for our Father to give us this necessary insight.
I pray to God that our time here at HubPages is an awakening into His glory, the fullness of what He designed the Church to be – an extension of Him here upon earth.
Saints, the fullness of this is right in our midst. You know this because of God having already opened your eyes to the truth of it. Now it’s time to wake up for the manifestation of it. We are who God says we are. What He says is true IS TRUE. You are not like everyone else. You are the children of God.
Father, wake us up to the powerful realities of your Kingdom, that we would manifest your glory and the world around us will drop to its knees in honor of you.
Love in Christ, Your Brother
