A Poem - Faith

Updated on August 16, 2017

Can you not see the glory of his creation?

"And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased." (Psalm 72:54) Can you not see?

An easy acrostic you can remember....

F ather in Heaven loves all His children.

A tonement has been made for me.

I trust the truths of the gospel.

T rusting, teaching, testifying....

H eaven and eternal life are my goal.

What is FAITH to you and in your daily life?

"They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever." (Psalm 125:1)

For yourself, just as I have done for myself here, take the letters F, A, I, T, H and make your own acrostic statement of what your faith means to you in your daily life.

I include the Atonement because I am a Christian, and I have faith that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins. But faith is important in the life of every believer, regardless of their religion and beliefs. It is important to you, I know.

Take a moment and think about the importance of faith in your own daily life and see how you would characterize it starting with each of its five letters.

It is never too late....

It is never too late to change. It is never too late to try again. It is never too late to find lasting joy.

schoolgirlforreal - Late in answering but, I knew the word perspicacious (the correct spelling) "keen in observing, understanding" and thought it would be a great pen name, but I decided to give it my own spelling by simply changing the "i" to a "y". That was fortuitous. I found out later that someone had scammed facebook while using the correct spelling!

it was just off the top of my head. For some reason. I had just finished taking several college classes for one...and I am very to the point (for real).

      Thanks for asking :-)

      How about you?

It is great doing so, and "meeting" precious people. How did you happen to choose the schoolgirl pen name?
