A Prayer for the Family

Updated on May 25, 2011

Father in Jesus name I first of all want to thank you for your goodness and mercy and kindness. I recognize that without you I could do nothing and because of your grace you have enabled me to approach your throne of grace with boldness to find help in the time of need. With this privilege I ask your blessing over my home and family because you said that if we ask it would be given and if we seek we would find and if we would knock the answer would be opened unto us.

Thank you that you are not a respecter of persons and if we find a promise in your word that you have done for someone else, you will do the same thing for me. The jailer in acts 16 asked the question what must I do to be saved? And Paul answered to believe the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved and your house. Because you saved the jailer and his whole house, thank you for saving my house. Thank you that my home is protected according to Psalm 91 because you promised that the angel the Lord encamps around and about those who fear you and shall no plague come nigh our dwelling.

According to Psalm 112 riches and wealth is in our house because you have redeemed us from the curse of the law which is poverty sickness and spiritual death. According to James chapter 1:5 thank you for wisdom which is the principal thing. All of these blessings we ask in the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit Amen
