Life. A Virtual Reality Game. A Whimsical View of When Spiritual Energy Became Sentient.

The Real "Game of Life"

Can there be "sins" in a virtual reality game?

Can participants in a virtual reality game become sentient?

Are we simply living in a "free style" stage play?

Do we know what 'reality' actually is?

The answers to all these questions are revealed herein.

The "biblical" spark of life

The "physiological" spark of life

When 'spirit' became sentient

When spiritual Energy became sentient in a material world.

Can a virtual reality game become sentient and allow its participants to alter the basic rules (laws), (paths), (outcomes), of the "game"?

Or are we simply a "free style" stage play ad-libbing and changing, improving, corrupting and ultimately destroying ourselves, and 'the game'?

A "Spiritual Essence" (soul) entering into a material world host can not change its basic personality.

This game has its own consequences of role selection that influence and impact on other players, and concepts that range from pure love to pure hatred: [a "must" feature to balance and maintain the stability of the game].

As in all other aspects of existence there are extreme ends of any spectrum. And maintaining a centrist position is necessary for everything to co-exist together.

Power and Greed destroy the integrity of the game on one extreme end of the balance scale.

Excessive apathy and ignorance allow the "tipping" of the scale to its opposite end.

Love, compassion, acquiring new knowledge and skills, all keep the scale on an even keel.

When the game becomes more diverse and complicated, the return to centrist position becomes more important and more difficult to attain.

If it cannot return to, and maintain an even balance, the game must end - and restart with new players - as a default 'reset' feature does on you computer. (most probable past 'resets' are what we see today around the world in the form of the many unexplained ancient ruins).

Many civilizations have passed over this land (earth) throughout the many millenniums past. Fear not for your "salvation" as predicated by the sages of doom.

Energy (our essences, or soul) can neither be destroyed, banished, rewarded, or punished, in the sense that we are taught today in this virtual reality game in which we reside.

There will never be a 'perfect' society (Eden) on the physical plane as it would negate the purpose of the game.

The more humane view of a 'rat trap'

the 'Rat Trap'

Caught in a Rat Trap (a hopeless situation)

The 'snags' and 'rat traps' can bring a game player (participant), (or many participants) to a paralyzed state in this virtual reality game of life.

Some can, and will, escape from the 'rat traps' by sheer will and over come the paralysis of fear imposed by those players who desire to control the game for their own selfish and materialistic pleasures.

There are hidden, or obscure 'clues' and 'guides' that are strategically placed in our lives, to aide us through the mazes of confusion. A player must always be watchful and alert to these clues to grow and experience all that life can provide in a positive manner

Blinding fear and unfounded overwhelming guilt can halt, or stagnate, a player's game position as they attempt to pull unsuspecting others into their 'rat traps' as well.

Diversity in the Real world

Realities of "life"

Part 3:

The realities of the virtual reality game of Life.

In a Virtual Reality game (as in modern day video games) there is murder and mayhem, but those players committing those heinous crimes cannot be committed to an eternal cyber hell for an 'eternity', for their roles played in a "virtual Reality", or violent material world, video game.

Within the virtual reality of the game called ''LIFE'', there are rules and regulations in place to help the players to participate and enjoy the realities of the game.

There is no post game punishments for the participants, for the game of life is just a game played by the inhabitants of another more advanced plane of existence. The players of 'Life' are not merely human beings going through a temporary spiritual experience. We are spirits going through a temporary human experience.

When other "players" in this game of life are self elevated to more than they were meant to be, it infects the integrity of the game. It gives a false sense of superiority over others. And a false sense of pride when those who are subservient can boast of being 'loyal', 'faithful', or 'obedient' to what, or who, they perceive to be more powerful than themselves.

In reality all spirits are equal in status in the spiritual world. The 'classes' in the material world are nothing more than different experiences provided for the 'entertainment' and/or the 'enlightenment' of the players.

There is not always "safety" in numbers and often times mass hysteria, and mass murders are necessary to move other players onward without getting caught up in the 'rat traps' of others.

(note here that this is referencing situations from virtual video war games only; and not condoning any other type of premature deaths, or acts of violence, at the hands of other life players).

Rule number one

Rule number one: There are no rules
Rule number one: There are no rules | Source

The rules of the game.

These are the general and overly simplified rules for playing our virtual reality game of Life .

The first and most important rule is that there are no rules.

We must learn to live our own lives, play our own personal parts in this game of life and let others find their own paths to the inevitable ends of their roles as well.

Play the game with gusto, and enjoy it, for we know not when the end will smack us down for good (at least in this incarnation).

"Humanity is lost within the material world.

Self serving captivates the connection between all things; and we lose our sense of oneness with the universe"

True, though one city has no monopoly on narrow-mindedness over the globe. I can say that each individual who begins to exemplify a better attitude (even toward those who may be wrong-doing) is a "that's one" - and a real solution will have to be one by one. No legislation or sweeping mass movement can make it happen in human hearts where it must begin and develop. People must awaken.

No whole generation has ever been all wrong, nor all right. Perhaps the ability to communicate the awareness that we really are 'in this together' and that we must start where we are with improvement can do wonders. In any case, it can't do much to throw in the towel.

Your good attitude is a move in the right direction! Hugs.

I have high hopes for humanity, but only in future generations. This one that houses all those old narrow minded folks in Washington (DC) will have to be gone first.. Our hope is in the education and enlightenment of the children, and theirs.

It is a joy to feel that.

An overall planetary upgrading of the spirit of love would be quite wonderful. :-) Of course, it can only be spread by actually being that!

One would hope so, but we both know that it is not that way in real life in today's society where religions push their own agendas for control and profit.

Those who have actual "faith" in the creative oneness cannot adhere to conventional religions as they stand today. They conflict too much for such reconciliation.

That is why i say we should probably abandon all religions on this planet and move toward embracing spirituality as part of human nature without all the human baggage attached to it.

There is nothing more peaceful and rewarding than having the ability to commune with the universal oneness and feel that unconditional love connection.

Yes. And actually at the real base of faith is just that sense of oneness with all that IS.

Thank you so much for you wise and insightful comments. I find it sad when some people only view our existence through the eyes of their respective religious teachings. They are missing out on so much more of life's beauty and enjoyment.

      I read somewhere that

"humanity is lost within the material world. Self serving captivates the connection between all things and we lose our sense of oneness with the universe''.

      Sad, but true.

I'm amazed how much this parallels my own meanderings. My answer is that there is, for humans, a subjective reality, at least, and that no one, nowhere, nohow can actually know anything more about reality than as subjectively perceived. Not that there may not be 'objective reality' - hopefully. But in any case, we can only view it subjectively with our senses, intelligence, experiences, state of health at the moment and all the rest of the filters through which our viewing it must pass and be changed.

We may exchange subjective perceptions of it among ourselves, we may even read of great minds' subjective perceptions of it, but even in so doing, we must view any of those 'outside' informations subjectively! My personal faith is that 'there is no problem'. How can there be?

All religions are equal: equally subjective in an overreaching way. Bottom line is that if we don't love each other, they're all equally shallow and meaningless.

I'll be reading more of your work! :-)

Beautiful! What sublime thought! If each one of us was able to intellectualize the world this way and ensure that emotion does not destroy that, life would be less of ups and downs. We would be able to have equanimity in the face of sorrows and joys alike...

you have likened life to a virtual reality game... I remember writing something similar likening life to a drama or movie based on the inspiration from my spiritual master.

Please check out if you are interested.

Thank you for the beautiful hub here...

Thanks for your wonderful comments as always. I was not sure how this would be accepted, since i am being bombarded with such negativity lately for my "sinful" articles that are simply anti modern day religion but misconstrued as atheistic. It is still very difficult for me to understand how people of any kind of faith can hate others who are of different beliefs. These rigid beliefs are a major cause of our global societal discord, and it seems to be worsening every day.
