A Window That Will Become A Door

Updated on June 25, 2013

Yesterday, Lastheart and I attended an all day conference that was very moving and "hit home" for me. We attended this with other members of our church. We go to Metro Vineyard in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This conference was in coordination with the 4/14 Movement which I will explain in this hub.

The main speaker was Jose Gonzalez who is from Uruguay but now makes his home in Virginia and is a graduate of Regent University. As all the speech was in Spanish, Lastheart translated for me. She did a wonderful job.

Mr Gonzalez's website is linked below. I highly recommend him as a speaker for your church, especially if you have a large Latin population. He has studied the Latin cultures and how God is working in Latin America.

Our Next Leaders

When you take a hard look at church membership, you will find that the numbers of children attending are at a huge reduction. It is sad when you hear how God has been taken out of our schools and we have violence, drugs and other evils running rampant throughout the schools.

I am even sadder as I hear news upon news of the tragedy that just happened in a town in Connecticut, in which 20 small children and several adults were shot to death at a school.

What is the answer? Is it more prisons? More psychologists?

The answer, plain and simple, is Jesus! The answer is to have God in our midst. Our children need to hear, study and sing the Word of God. That is what the 4/14 window is all about. A window that will become a door. A door to peace, love, joy, and Heaven.

Children are the future. They are the future leaders, and if they don't know God, God will not be in the picture. If we turn our backs on God, ohhhhhh the consequences!

Children from the ages of 4 to 14 are the ones we need attending church. We need children accepting Jesus as their personal Savior. We need to reach the children!

The Statistics

So why aren't children coming into the church. In my opinion, Satan has pushed a world-wide agenda trying to keep them out. If he destroys the family, he keeps the children out of the church.

Our battle isn't just a "get the kids to church" battle; it is a "get the family back together" battle. The statistics are overwhelming on how many children are being raised by a single parent. These single parents work many hours or even worse, are drug addicts.

Children follow their parents. If the parent won't go to church, neither will the child.

Here is a battle plan that will work if it is in prayer and fasting and all churches working together to fulfill the Will of God.

I just stated that if the parents won't go, the children won't go.

Let's turn that around; if the children want to go and do go, the parents will eventually follow. We need to reach the children. Give them a desire to come. We need to find ways to reach the children. It means evangelizing. We need to go to the streets, two by two and talk to the children. Hand them children's Bibles and Christian children reading material. A candy bar and an invite will bring them.

By starting near the church, they can walk or ride their bikes and they will come and hear about Jesus and the Kingdom. Kids will bring other kids and the youth will be getting fed the Word of God. Parents will start following and you better prepare, revival will happen!

Let's do what all those discount stores are doing. Put the stuff in front of the children and they will talk their parents into it.

Put Jesus in front of our children and they will accept Him and talk their parents into accepting Him.

You don't have to go far away to be a missionary. You can be a missionary right where you are. Tell a child about Jesus. One child will tell another child and God will stay in the schools, even if the Government tries to take Him out.

4/14 For All

4/14 is not for any one denomination. It is for all who claim Jesus as the gift of eternal life in Heaven.

The children are the answer!

Let's Reach The Children!

      Interesting Froggy

Do you know that 45% of churches in the UK have less than 45 members and no-one under the age of 45!! The rule of 45.

Now, I know that there are some fabulous churches too, but it's an interesting stat

Great sermon on what our worlds needs to change the violence now eating away at our hearts. God's love does make things happen.

      Good morning Froggy.

Bravo. That is the duty of every Christian not a church.

May God bless you with a bountiful harvest.
