Thanks to the Change By the Word Of God I'm Not What I Used to Be- I used to be.....But Now

Writing is my passion. I have an undying thirst and quest in the field of writing. Some eat, drink or use drugs when stress, I write.

Only God can change a heart of those who allow Him. The Spirit of God uses His word to bring about a change to people who desires modification. Changed by the Word of God- I used to be.....But Now, I am a new person. The Bible says in Ezekiel 36:26-27, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Moreover, I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws”. God's word will "change" you; it will give you the miracle of turning a compassion less heart into a caring one."

Each and every change occurs because God’s Word serves as a regular diet to the soul. For me God's word assists me when being hurt and used was very painful. God’s Word has taught me although people has allowed their heart to waxed cold, and their ears are tedious of hearing, and their eyes are padlocked closed, and they seem to have no conscience whatsoever. I can still love and forgive them because God has given me a new heart and a spirit that repaired all my hurt and pain changing me into His child. As a new individual, I have learned so much about myself and this transformation has freed me from what I used to be to what I am now.

I used to be so young and so naïve, but now, I’ve grown up and am wiser — I listen, as well as look at people’s actions each day.

I used to allow family and friends to influence me on what to do and how to live my life.

But now, I stop just existing — I began living, not listening to influence and give out good advice.

I used to have a family that loved & cared about me, but now that changed, they do not care now

I used to put myself last just to make sure family and friend’s needs, as well as wants, were met.

But now, I am loving and take care of me — I am striving to get control over my out-of-control debts.

I used to believe being loyal to family and friends would mean that they would love and return loyalty back to me.

But now, I know how to be loyal to only those who deserve and earn my loyalty, and that is how it should be.

I used to take excellent care of the family as well as friends and left myself un-cared for in many ways.

But now, I only look out for people who know how to appreciate me and know how to bring out the best in me each day.

I used to be so close-minded and closed myself inside a small box with no hope of success.

But now, I am open-minded, and I see more than one side of life — I live life to my best.

Changed by the word

I used to be tired, annoyed, and so intense, trying to please others.

But now, I’ve learned to relax, no longer frustrated, and am an excellent and useful mother.

I used to do things family and friends’ ways just because I wanted acceptance and love.

But now, I know that I do not need other’s approval to feel love — I am loved by God above.

I used to allow friends and family to mold me in their own creations.

But now, I allow God to be the head of my life. I am blessed, a thinker, and thank God for taking me off of roots plantation.

If you are used to being the “used to person,” stop being the” used to” person. Sometimes, you have to look at life from a different perspective and be the “but now” person. When we are so used to being the “used to” person, we make excuses for wrong actions and allow others to tell us how to live and forget what it means to be intense and useful. But nothing takes the place of being your own self while accepting life from a different perspective.

As a seeker, when you allow God’s Word to change you, He accepted you as you are and you come to understand about God’s grace. As you follow Him, you will find freedom and how to love devotedly, soulfully and unconditionally because His grace makes a powerful difference in your everyday life.

Allow the Word of God to Change You!

How Does the Bible Have the Power to Change Lives?

One of the greatest miracles God carry out every year on a regular basis around the world is that of a changed life. God's primary tools deliver countless millions of lives for affecting change which is the Bible. Those of us who have been modified from afflictions such as emotional wounds, self-destructive habits, and substance abuse has experienced a real power of God that come with a new life in Christ.

Changed by the word of God

However, what is it about the Bible that empowers lives to be changed in such surprising ways? Although the writing of man can educate, amuse, and enlighten in different ways, but God’s word has the power and capacity to change lives forever. The key to understanding this power is to know that the word of God is available in the Bible and that it not just a compendium of stimulating writings that were penned by great philosophers. It is inspiring words that distinct from every other manuscript in history to man.

When a person opens their heart to reading, learning, and studying the Bible, they have emanated from the mind and heart of the world. They will come encounter with words that carry a power that is matchless by any other written work. The individual who is changing through God’s word will understand their real situation—and will begin to grasp the power of the Holy Spirit so they can see themselves and God like never before to be transformed into a new person. When a person has allowed an extraordinary change to take place in their life, they seek to proceed deeper into God’s Word over time to enjoy a life of great joy.
