A Mark On The Forehead!

The book of Genesis is the seed of the whole bible, although it is written in types and shadows, our understanding of Genesis is our potentials to grab the lessons from the whole Bible.

For example, Abraham would have to offer Isaac, his only son at a point on Mount Moriah, this was a shadow of God offering His only begotten Son at Calvary which is a part of the location of old Mount Moriah!

One of the things that God commanded Jacob to put away was the household idols, which were later buried under the Oak tree. In the true sense of it, these household idols were simply the traditions of the elders (which made the word of God to be without effect). Like Jacob and his household, we all must do away with the traditions of the elders.

As regards any biblical issue, have you consider within yourself, why people believe what the elders (or preachers) say, and doubt what the bible says? There are many of such issues that we live with day by day; trusting what the preachers say and doubting what the bible actually say. The traditions of the elders in most times are not necessarily lies, but are most times half truth!

Chief among these half truth as taught by the elders is the teaching about anti - Christ. For many years, this particular half - truth has not only passed through our minds, but it has sinks and settles in us, hurting us as horrible nightmares.

As we have been wrongfully taught about the anti – Christ, we have all grown with a secret unholy fear for this character, and his impending ‘persecution’ of the church.

Our fear takes its root in our inability to study carefully, all that God is capable of doing; we have magnified beyond normal, the activities of the devil, while we underestimate the power of God. It is a pity that we have all majored in the minor as touching this topic; forgetting that God made the devil/Lucifer too.

John Wesley once said that we should try all things by the written Word and we should all bow down before it. May I call your attention to the very first mark placed upon man in the bible?

‘…Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him’ - Genesis 4:15

God and not the devil placed this mark, and it was meant to protect Cain from death. We were not told which part of his body the mark was placed, but it was a mark from God.

More error has been committed because many can not understand the things of the Spirit, neither can they untie the coded truth. Therefore, we keep hearing 666 or the mark of the beast. Tracks, bulletins, magazines, films, etc have been made to propagate and imprint the terrible allusion of the antichrist upon the people’s mind. But the bible did say that, ‘ Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six’ - Revelation 13:18

The number of the beast is the number of a man, which means there is a significant relationship between the number of the beast and that of a man. Secondly, this mark of the beast was placed in specific parts of a man, namely the right hand or foreheads.

‘And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads’ – Revelation 13:16

All counterfeits depend on the originals, of which they are negative copies. The good news is that ever before the mark of the beast, there was the mark of the Father. It is the left – overs, those that would not accept the mark of the Father, that are made available to receive the mark of the beast. Catch this!

A shadow of this truth was given to Ezekiel, a type of first-fruit of the mark.

‘And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. – 9:4

As it was in those days, so it is now. Those that cry and lament over the present situations that ravage the church, are qualify to receive the Father’s mark. Grace will always go ahead of wrath – ask Lot in Sodom.

May you never take the mercy and the grace of God for granted. The angel that Ezekiel saw marking the people of Jerusalem is at work again, and he is at work NOW! Hear John;

‘And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in the foreheads.

Revelations 7:2 – 3

From these scriptures, we can confidently say that it was God that first mark His people on their foreheads, before the devil marks the ‘rebellions’ too. Perhaps, you might ask why the foreheads? To understand why, you must know that your mind is not on your chest, which is where your heart is; your mind is located at your forehead.

Moreover, your mind is the seat of your Will, Emotion and Intellect. Therefore, God wants to take control of it by marking it with a seal. The 144,000 saints that stood with the Lamb on Mount Zion have the Father’s Name written in their foreheads (Rev. 14:1). Their minds are fixed (sealed) on how to hallow the Father’s name; they have no business with the beast or its mark.

‘Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus’ - Philippians 2:5

This is the Father’s seal. Now that the church is running after the world, where is your mind turned to? Do you love to see Babylon enthroned on the altar and her stylish enter attainment (entertainment means to enter a trap) or you lament for the desolation that her presence has brought to the altar?

However, the story is not the same with the devil; for he will have authority over people’s activities (right hand) and their minds (foreheads). Anti – Christ are men (and women) which love to stand in the place (instead) of Christ Jesus, and not necessarily opposing Christ, as we were taught by tradition. This spirit of anti – Christ love to be worshiped, this is an acid test to identify one. ‘Little children, it is the last time: and ye have heard that an anti – Christ shall come, even now are there many anti- Christs; whereby we know that it is the last time’ - I John 2:18

The spirit of anti – Christ will always need the body (mind) of a man, for the number of the beast is the number of a man.

In application of this teaching, after you are well grounded with the interpretation, you will see that many institutions today are coming up with the rights to allow their members only to sell and buy articles within their organisation, many Government policies are planning of introducing chips on a particular body part of their citizens, believing it is for security sake.

Things are happening so very fast that one is not aware of the applications of what one have been reading for years in the bible! The books of Daniel and Revelation are to be carefully read for they both speak of these end time events, especially the book of Revelation. Unfortunately, many Christian films and teachings are not bringing out the real interpretation and application of the Scripture about the anti - Christ. There are confusions and fears everywhere the light of the truth is not being taught as per the anti - Christ.

Here is wisdom; if you refuse the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, you have refused the Father’s seal. Refusing the Father’s seal will make you available to receiving the mark of the beast. God is not respecter of any person, so is the devil. Anyhow there is a mark set for your forehead.

Again I say to you in all honesty; the Anti - Christ is not going to necessary oppose Christ, but he will tend to replace the Christ, and pretends to save the people! The power of seduction belongs to him, and he would have the ability to deceive even the elect - The very purpose of this writing.
