The Prophet's Reward

connecting with your prophet

We must learn how to maintain a fruitful and supportive relationship with our prophet. It is not enough to know who a prophet is or to recognize your true prophet, it very important to know how to connect or tap spiritual and heavenly resources from your true prophet. It is error to go to your prophet or any prophet for that matter empty handed. You need to maintain your spiritual connection to your prophet by seed sowing. They may not need your seed to survive except they are fulltime, but you must sow into their lives so that you can profit.

“Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus…” (Phil. 4:17-20).

THE PROPHET’S REWARD

Prophet’s reward is a divine blank cheque given to the prophet by the almighty God to make any demand, request and promise on His behalf for the benefit of those who connects and gives to him. “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward;..” (Mat 10:41).

It is evident in scripture where the prophet at times declares, blesses or promises things without prior permission from God. When a prophet makes a declaration into our life, no demon can stop it. “And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. “

(1Ki 17:1)

You receive the prophet’s reward anytime you sow a seed into a prophet’s life. You provoke the blank cheque reward and by the anointing of the prophet, any blessing he pronounces on you will be sanctioned by heaven. Whenever you recognize and care for your prophet like the Shunamite woman in 2 Kings 4:8-17, you unleash the prophet’s reward and receive solution to stubborn problems in your life by the anointing of the prophet. “And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.”

(2Ki 4:16-17).

Remember that Prophet Isaac asked Esau to get his favourite meal for him to get the prophetic blessing. Instead, Jacob with help from his mother went ahead of Esau, provided the meal and got the prophetic blessing. Your prophet needs your meal to bless you; do not become an Esau.

  • Ø Your seed to your prophet takes you to a place of significance (Mk. 14:3-9).
  • Ø Your seed saves you from lack and averts untimely death (1 Ki.17:8-14).
  • Ø It helps you recover your original destiny (1 sam.9:7-18).

Beloved, save yourself from unnecessary oppression, danger, waste and even untimely death, connect to your prophet now and remain connected by constant seed and fatherly care. Shalom!
