Adultery - Leaving Your Spouse Because of the Bible is for Fakes

Adultery - Leaving Your Spouse Because of the Bible is for Fakes

The whole world it seems wants everyone to keep one scripture whether or not they are Jews or Christians, and whether or not they even know what’s in the bible about anything at all including adultery. Adultery is felt to be one of the worse crimes against humanity. Really? If it feeds your spirit at the time then why should you be denied the experience just because others refuse to understand? Understanding, compassion, and love are a choice that doesn’t always come naturally anymore when the ego takes over. Ego is everything we’ve learned from society, our own machinations, school, parents, peers, church, etc. None of this is natural and what’s natural is what’s normal. Actually if you study sexual behavior around the world you’ll see a lot of deviation from the biblical standard accept as the norm in different cultures where they are very happy and not dying of diseases nor having children out of wedlock because they take proper precautions. So you want everyone to not cheat and that would make you happy? It’s never going to happen so you can count on being miserable. The only thing making you miserable is your own attitude of hardcore hypocrisy. How much sex and violence do you watch on T.V. or read about in grocery store novels? That doesn’t seem to bother most people because they do it every day without protest or resistance. We have internet statistics on everyone in the western world. Need I say more. Now I’ll take this to the extreme. I never expect my partner to be faithful to a harsh unrealistic standard of never lusting after someone else. On the contrary, I’m glad they have lust because sometimes it’s for me and if they can turn it off for anyone, then surely you know who’s next down the road. That’s how it all starts with sexual frustration and blaming. Then you no longer want to be together because you can have more fun with others and less with a nagging partner who won’t stop making you feel bad about your desires. Being married is not ownership. You have no control over anyone but yourself and your children. Adults have the ability to do as they choose. Any attempt to limit this fact will meet with violent disruption of peace and hurt and angry feelings. If you want someone to come back to you, set them free to do so. I know I would never let go of a person who treats me such. Want biblical standards in marriage? Marry a bible.
