Affirmations-What are they and what are they for?

Updated on January 5, 2014

What are they about?

We’re existing in a beautiful world; however our environments are full of distractions, frequencies, and general noise. This has an effect on our brains and our consciousness. We have the ability to quiet the noise inside & outside our minds for a moment and reconnect with our highest selves. Having something tangible, while taking a moment to align ourselves with the one source, can assist in the reconnection. Affirmations are words or symbols that represent you. They’re a reminder of who you are or what you are working so profoundly at being or manifesting. Although they are extremely personal, we are all connected so our needs are also exposed as they are projected into our collective consciousness. So as I write these, I have your needs in mind as well as my own. Through empathy, I'm allowed to create affirmations that can be used to assist any human. However, you can't go wrong when you call on your highest self to write your own. Once you grow from those or change your intention, make new ones. You may be surprised at how well they assist in your grounding and centering.

Use these to get you going!

Below are 7 affirmations for you to try. I've also added stones (crystals) under each one that would correlate to that particular chakra. Using stones to assist you in aligning yourself can be very useful.

Great hub, so true. I used to have such a bad attitude a long time ago, and positive affirmations began to really help turn my thinking around and give it a more positive spin. Things really went uphill from there for me. I love the affirmations for the chakras, I have to put them in my Book of Shadows. Great for meditations. Nice work here!
