All Roads Lead To God

Updated on December 12, 2015

Before you start getting judgmental about the title of this hub, please read it in it's entirety. I do know that I am sometimes quick to judge statements about faith, God and Jesus before hearing a person out.

I once was kicked out of a Bible study because I stated that God loves Lucifer. No one wanted to hear me out. It is true or God would not have created him. God is love; he doesn't love what Lucifer became, but he created him in love and loves him. God is love.

Facts are facts , and all roads do lead to God. Plain and simple; let me explain by putting a few examples here. At the bottom of this hub I will explain my point.

Adolf Hitler

Hitler ordered the deaths of many, many. He didn't kill by his own hand but caused the deaths of up to 6 million Jewish people and by causing World War two estimates say he directly caused the deaths of 35 million people.

Adolf was a very wicked man.

"I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator."

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf , Vol. 1 Chapter 2

Hitler's road led to God.

Mother Teresa

This beautiful woman and a nun of the Roman Catholic church did so much to bring God's love to many people.

Her dedication to God is equaled by very few.

“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”
Mother Teresa

Joseph Stalin

Stalin was a brutal leader and dictator in Russia. He imprisoned and tortured many of his own people.

Estimates show that at least 600,000 of his fellow Russians were killed by his orders.

Stalin was very evil.

"God's not unjust, he doesn't actually exist. We've been deceived. If God existed, he'd have made the world more just... I'll lend you a book and you'll see."

A teenaged Stalin after reading The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin as quoted in Young Stalin (2007) by Simon Sebag Montefiore, p. 49

Martin Luther King Jr.

A great man who brought many changes in civil rights across America and the world.

King was also a Baptist minister and showed much love for God and for mankind. His actions changed the world.

"I must admit that I have gone through those moments when I was greatly disappointed with the church and what it has done in this period of social change. The church, itself, will stand under the judgement of God.

Interview after his "Social Justice and the Emerging New Age" address at the Herman W. Read Fieldhouse, Western Michigan University, (18 December 1963)

Idi Amin

This was one highly wicked ruler of Uganda. Estimates say he killed between 100 and 500,000 people. Many of these deaths were by his own hands.

He was known to drink blood and rumors say he had one man's arms and legs cut off and sewn back in the opposite places.

Amin was very evil.

"I do not want to be controlled by any superpower. I myself consider myself the most powerful figure in the world, and that is why I do not let any superpower control me." Idi Amin, president of Uganda, as quoted in Thomas and Margaret Melady's Idi Amin Dada: Hitler in Africa, Kansas City, 1977.

Idi Amin's road led to God.

Jesus Christ

The greatest man ever.

I read His Words daily and try my best to live them.

Jesus caused no deaths and actually brought dead back to life.

“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:36-40)

Jesus' Road ls God. Jesus is God; God the Son in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Point

All roads DO lead to God.

Proverbs 15 verse 3 says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

My point in all of this is: every one will be judged. The last man I listed will be that judge. Therefore all roads do lead to God. I didn't say all roads lead to Heaven, actually many will lead to hell. First though, all will come to the judgement seat which means the roads lead to God.

When you stand before Him, how will it go? Have you considered that?

I, myself will not stand; I will kneel and bow. Our mighty Savior will judge in righteousness and TRUE justice.

May His Kingdom come!

Hmmm - it's called "god delusion" - quite a serious mental problem in some parts of the US ...

You may be able to get some help, try reading real EDUCATIONAL material and less of these irrational stories from that outdated book of myths!

It's a terrible wast to lose your mind to religion ... no joke - take it serious, my friend.

      Great Hub, blesses to all.

This was a beautiful hub until you messed it up with the false image of the messiah and that road to damnation trinity doctrine ,anyone that reads the bible and understands it would never have a image of the messiah , would know that the trinity is false and also know that the messiah is the son of the creator not the creator and the he came to glorify his father not himself . I never understand why people pray to Jesus when he instructed you to pray to the father in his name not pray to him but many trinitarians are blind to this fact because they are taught that he is God .Remember you will be judge hope you follow the word of God and not the doctrine of men . Sorry for the rant but still a great hub

I knew where you were going with this, so I wasn't worried. I mean, after all this time, you're not likely to go all Oprah on us...

It is also said that "All roads lead to Rome." But only the message contained in the so-called "Romans' Road" of Bible passages has the power to lead all the way to our King! May this anointed message you have shared lead people to investigate the truly distinctive differences between the world's belief systems and Christianity. We are NOT better than anyone else; rather, we are AS BAD as everyone else and, thus, need a Savior from roads which, ultimately, lead to a dead end
