Psychic phenomenon is something that has had scientists and people, in general, puzzled for many, many years. Not just the existence of it, but the degree to which this phenomenon is present in our every day lives. Have you ever stopped to ask yourself if you were psychic? If you have, then you probably are. Not as in joking about it, but if you have ever had that really strong feeling that you needed to know if you were psychic before, there is probably more to it than you simply asking yourself a question. The Universe may be sending you signs, it’s your job to figure out how to listen.
Are you a person who is very in tune with your surroundings? Do you know who is on the phone before you pick it up, or check the caller id? These are some of the more obvious signals that you could be able to know things, psychically, but the less obvious signs are the ones that may leave you a bit confused. The Universe will choose to talk to you in a variety of ways, one of these is through subtle messages throughout nature. Or you may have a series of unexplainable occurrences happen in your life that you can’t quite figure out. You may, however, have a feeling, and that feeling is usually the best thing to go with. Like the saying says, trust your gut.
The ideal of psychic awareness has been around for centuries, from magical medicine men in the rainforest to the spirits of past, present, and future in “Scrooge,” Americans and cultures from every part of the planet have some form of psychic phenomenon that they believe in. Really, to not believe is what seems silly, but that is a whole other article in itself.
How to Develop Your Skills
If you have recurrent de-javu in different situations, even situations involving strangers, you may be in some way tapping into your abilities without knowing it. The next time this happens stop and take note of the area, the people around you and the ways that people around you are acting. All of these can be key factors in figuring out what it is that you are trying to figure out. It is sort of like a treasure hunt, you just don’t know what kind of treasure you are going to be receiving. Knowing that your child, or someone else very close to you is in trouble or hurt is also a sign of possessing psychic qualities and awareness. You may feel pain in some part of your body and have no idea why, come to find out later that your sister was in a car accident and that her leg was injured right where yours was hurting. These signs are blatantly obvious also, but they occur every day. You have to keep an open mind, spirit and heart to be able to hear exactly what you are meant to hear and know what you are meant to know.
One way to purposely and consciously sharpen your psychic skills is through meditation. This will bring your mind to a higher place and allow for complete knowledge to enter your mind, as complete as you will get. Not every person who possesses psychic qualities share the same ones. While you may be adept at telling the future for about a day, some other psychics may only be able to communicate with the diseased. You have to take into account that whatever your special ability is, you have to embrace that gift and not be jealous of those in your company, should you know any other psychics, or mediums.
You Never Know
Focusing on the big picture, rather than stressing yourself about the small details will help you greatly in strengthening your skills. When you are relaxed, you are more likely to be receptive of hearing and noticing your psychic spells. You may not be able to control them, with time you will learn how to live peacefully with what you have been given, however, it can be a very lonely existence.
On the other hand, you may be a mother of three, just now realizing your gifts. This is a completely different scenario, one in which you must live every day as if everything is normal around your loved ones. The main advice I can give on strengthening your skills here is to get some time to yourself, at least once a day. Meditating, seeing things in your mind as a visualization exercise, even meditating in bed before you fall asleep. All of these things will help you to figure out and better deal with the phenomenon going on around you.
