Imagine beauty that is wrapped in wonder, dipped into stardust, then swirl that in fractured dreams and encrust it with hopes gone awry.  What you have then is life.  With our birth we are given all the wonder that God has set aside for us, then Satan uses all that is in his arsenal to corrupt and break us. What we must remember is that he can only succeed if we allow him to do so.

We are God’s creation even if we do not acknowledge it and Satan’s target even if we don’t want it.  Each day of our lives we make a choice, either to shine in all of God’s glory, or to become tainted and tarnished by Satan’s filth.  There are so many ways to make that choice.  It is a sad thing to think that if we don’t make a conscious choice we’re safe, but nothing could be further from the truth.  By not choosing we give Satan the upper hand.  Simply put if we choose Satan, he wins, and if we don’t choose God, he Wins.  Satan tricks us into believing that no choice is safe, when in reality it’s just the opposite.

God will not force us to choose Him, we must consciously make the decision to accept Christ into our lives, thus rejecting Satan.  Are you one of Satan’s silent army?  I think that is his biggest strength, I do not believe that we would consciously choose to serve Satan, but Satan has the advantage.  Ambivalence makes the choice for us.  Are you that mindless or are you ready to make a choice

So poignant! I often am reminded to ask God to "lead me not into temptation but deliver me from evil". It always is ever present as light and dark stand side by side battling for us. Wonderful hub!
