There ARE Angels in Your Life
No matter whether you attend a church on Sunday or not, Angels are very real in your life, on a daily basis. Not all of them are of the divine kind...the ones we think of as emissaries of God. While they are very present and very real, they are not the only ones that are ever present in your life.
There are Angels walking among us on a daily basis. They are waiting to help you with a flat tire, to lift heavy packages into your car or home, to rake your lawn, to provide a listening ear without judging, to walk with you in joy and in sorrow.
And, you often are an Angel to someone else, even if unwittingly.
Find your Angels
Be an Angel.
Be Still and Feel the Angels
Without a doubt Angels surround us.
That knowledge offers great comfort to me and my family and to many of my friends.
Some Angels are divine and walk with us as each new day dawns, through the difficult and through the wonderful.
Others are sweet friends and family with whom we may spend some part of each day. They are there to support, encourage, advise, and uplift us.
What a blessing these Angels are!!!
What is prayer?
Prayer is communion with God. it is a time of thanksgiving. And I personally do have so much for which I can give thanks. It is a time of asking: for continued blessings for loved ones and friends and even those with whom I am not acquainted; for healthy bodies and minds and for prosperity. It is a time to pray for leadership in our government and the governments of the world that will make sense of all that is happening in the world today.
What are angels??
Angels are God's messengers sent to protect and comfort us---all of us. I can feel their presence and know that they are with me.
It is my belief that we all have for sure a host of earthly Angels who are always ready to comfort, console, uplift, advise, and listen. All of the Angels I am surrounded by see me through the dark, treacherous times and rejoice with me when remarkably lovely events happen.
These are my own personal explanations. I am not a theologian and do not believe that my understanding and explanation of them needs to be interpreted by someone else.

Life's Journeys: Angels are on the Way
When catastrophic illness comes knocking part 1
Angels do surround us
Throughout my lifetime Angels have been sent to my family and me again and again. Prayer has been the way that God has smiled on my family, my friends, strangers, and even me. I have no doubt. Not for one minute.
Those of you that have read my hubs know that my family has had its share of illness which happens every across our nation and throughout the world.
Doctors have shared ominous warnings in their prognosis for those that I love. And there have been times when those loved ones have succumbed to their illness. There are loved ones who have are living today that were told many years ago that their lives would end very soon. And the fact that they are still on the planet defies some scientific explanation.
A few of the doctors have described their ability to survive despite the diseases that ravage their bodies as miraculous. There is no other way to explain it except that a miracle has happened several doctors have told them.
She was told she would never live to give birth to this child.
When angels visit us, we do not hear the rustle of wings, nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove; but we know their presence by the love they create in our hearts.— Mary Baker Eddy
Sometimes I Do
Sometimes I do feel the rustle of their wings, I do....perhaps it is wishful wanting, longing. but I definitely agree with Ms. Eddy that I feel a life giving love and sense of renewal within my heart.
A Fervent Prayer
Part of the lyrics to the song...for you....
"I pray you'll be our eyes, and watch us where we go.
And help us to be wise in times when we don't know
Let this be our prayer, when we lose our way
Lead us to the place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we'll be safe
La luce che tu hai
I pray we'll find your light
nel cuore restera
and hold it in our hearts.
a ricordarci che
When stars go out each night,
eterna stella sei
The light you have
I pray we'll find your light
will be in the heart
and hold it in our hearts.
to remember us that
When stars go out each night,
you are eternal star
Nella mia preghiera
Let this be our prayer
quanta fede c'e
when shadows fill our day
Do you feel the presence of Angels in your life?
A book you will want to own.
No time for sorrow
This may sound bizarre but there are times when I want to run up and down the street shouting aloud how blessed I know we are. Shouting to God that His blessings have wrapped our lives in a cloak of HOPE.
There are also times when I want to run up and down the street screaming and crying. On the days when my family has gotten the results of another test which reveals that their numbers have tanked. The same feeling washes over me when a PET scan shoes that a tumor has grown remarkably rather than decreased in size. My soul cries out for them. And I wish that I could fix them. Why can't I find a way to make their maladies go away? Why can't I take away their pain?
Recently new, more serious phases in my daughter's illness have shown their ugly faces to us. And so I retreat into myself and try to make sense of it and try to find a way that i can help ease the pain. And there are ways, and, I do those but it is not enough.
At these times do I cry out to God, "Why have you forsaken me? Why have you forsaken my child?"
For those of you who have read a number of my writings you know the answer. I do not believe that God abandons and forsakes us. I do not think that illness is of God. I do believe that He is right here where He is each and every moment. He is carrying us right now as He has done many times. And I feel His presence and the presence of the Angels who bring me the comfort I need to struggle through this new sorrow that has entered our lives.
And I shake myself off as I remember my mantra, our mantra:
Do not miss today...not one moment of it. Every day is a G I F T.
There is no time for sorrow and sadness and trying to second guess the future. This day is the day to live and relish the moments that await us.
Do you believe in the power of prayer?
Praying and sending Angels in our community
Prayer should be shared within our communities. And it can be done so in such a way that everyone's needs are heard. If the members of your community are also praying for each other, it will make a difference in your community.
My Mother said to us often when my sisters and I were children the following verse from Matthew:
Matthew 25:40...'And the King will answer them, Truly I say to you as you did it to the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.' Jesus had told his followers that if they fed the hungry, clothed the naked, and visited those who were jailed, it was as if they had done it to Him."
It's connection to praying for your neighbors is that you are giving your neighbors a cup of spiritual food to energize and strengthen their lives.
Angels among us
For years and years, Angels have been a part of my life and the part of the lives of family. Many of these Angels are what I call Earthly Angels. They are the ones who support and lift us up when we need it most. They are there for us on a daily basis when everything is just fine in our lives.
You probably are an Angel. Giving love and support and helping another just because. You do not wait to see if someone needs your help. You offer it freely and without no expectation of anything in return.
That is what an Earthly Angel is. Someone who sees a need and fills it.
Celestial Angels too are here among us each moment of every day. Watching over us and sheltering us during the times when we think we just cannot handle one more thing. You feel their presence. They give you, me, us the strength to face any new challenge and move forth.
Angels have watched over him since he was a young baby and continue to do so today.
Are you a lighthouse for your community?
Become a lighthouse
Lighthouses are the beacon in the night, signaling that danger is imminent. Somewhere I read that the first lighthouses were not actually structures but were fires built along the shore to warn of dangerous rocks or other hidden dangers. As time progressed, structures were erected to warn sailors of those dangers.
I would like to think that lighthouses served another purpose as well. When those traveling by sea spied a lighthouse, perhaps they were reassured that land was not far off. Safety awaited if they could skirt the danger they were warned of by these beacons of light in the night. They gave direction to the sailors.
You ask God's blessings on them. All of the members of the household. Begin with the house next door. Pray for them fervently. Move from house to house in this same manner.
Collective praying, asking God to bless everyone in your town is a gesture, but I have always believed that the more specific I can be when I pray, the more effective my prayers are.
Prayer has power far beyond the words we utter when they are spoken. When you pray for those in each house, call them by name as you pray. I have found that the more specific you can be the more power there is in your prayer. However, if you do not know names, you can still ask God to bless each member of that home.
You can ask for health in all areas of their lives...physical, spiritual, financial. You can ask God to touch their lives and guide and protect them each day.
Make your prayers personal
If you know a family has a particular struggle, pray that God can send them peace and the strength to endure. Ask Him to bless them with that 'peace that passes all understanding' when they are struggling with something they feel is beyond their ability to handle on their own.
When praying, more than anything, I ask for God to help me to know the direction I should go with decisions I need to make. I prayed over whether I should share this with you, my Hub Community. And, you see the decision I was lead to. I have a whole new Community to pray for now.
As the lighthouse, you are sending God to each of those homes even those who do not realize they are never alone.
Thanking God for being here for me whenever I reach out is one more opportunity to send praise for all of my blessings.
I know I do not walk alone, neither do you, nor the members of your community.
Find your Angels...pray fervently. It will make a difference in your life and in the lives of others.
Sending Angels and prayers to each of you.
