Angry angel

Updated on January 21, 2011

On these clips, of a broken wing I transcend, then descended upon planet earth,

For, I have fallen from my place at the table with the righteous

And now, I must serve out my days as "MAN,"

In this prison of captivity they call a world

The same world I, once look down upon,

As if insects, Who scatter around each other

like you was not a creation of "HIM"

In your meaningless, materialistic "SKIN"

You hate and you hurt, drink, abuse, and, choose not to serve ''Him"

But "MAN" Still man leads you astray,

When in them you only trust,

They break you down, and scrape you up, like dust, "HUMANOID"

You failed the Holy Grail, with your dark skin and pale,

Because instead of "HIM, Your color you "HAIL,

So now you wear your color like "JAIL, Trying to break free,

Tanning, and bleaching, your white and black skin,

As you lust and you sin, I can see the devil from deep within,

So now he "WINS",

And caused, me to fall, because I once loved and believed in you all

So now I live as "MAN, in this filth, you call land and, doing the evil things that you do

But I still fucking hate you

Minnetonka twin thanks. I think my style

Of writing comes from a combo of songwriting for so many years,

being a watcher of the world

depression stress and life itself. I

know it’s not for everyone but it is what I do

      So thank you for reading

Some incredible and powerful words here deepthought. It makes me sad as I see so much of your poem to be true of the world today. Keep on writing, one of the best medicines we have today:)

That's a very astute observation about only holding the pen because we start not knowing where we are headed until we arrive at that last full stop. That is the magic of creative thought and i love your version of it. Cheers

Wonderful contrast in the end. I like that -- surprises and sums up anger perfectly. Great work Deepthought!

Thank you Drean on for your thoughts and input on this hub,I too thought of a different ending, but then sometimes imperfeation is better then perfection

and vulgarity is the language of man

You express your thoughts well at the end I expected a little different ending.I think the swearing didn't go with the rest of the Angry angel.I like the tone you set.It made me think about life from a different angle.
