High School Experiences

Updated on July 4, 2017

Infiltrating a new environment can be stressful, especially if you've never experienced it before. Moms send you off to school every year and may sometimes walk you to the bus stop. This year in particular is different. This year you embark on a new adventure. New doors are in sight. New people with different intensions are being formed in the retina of your eyes. More sports, new friendships, and cafeteria workers. High school awaits. Every school is different is its own unique way, but high school is what you make it. Don't be the person that does nothing. I know what that feels like. There are many things that you can do to become involved. Join a academic club or maybe even a sports club. Meet new people. Don't get involved with too many people as drama can spiral. Most people that you meet in these last four years of school will have a big impact on your life. Whether it's the start football player, ROTC guru, or that teacher that you think is cool. You will build very trusting relationships that will last a life time. Focus on your academics you will walk in a freshman and walk out as a contributing member of society. You may not know what career choice to make right now or as a senior, but as long as you have the grades and ACT scores then you can be whatever you dream of. Parents often say that the sky is the limit; that's a lie. Your potential will help you reach beyond the sky.
